It's a well known fact that Remus Lupin was a hard working studier. Whenever homework was assigned, he would, nearly all the time, have finished it that night before anyone's even got time to pick up their quill. The library was his secret hideaway (except it wasn't really secret) and calm spot. Or used to be his calm spot. Sirius had now been popping up on every journey. Remus didn't really mind this, it's just that the way Sirius made him feel always seemed to distract. Thoughts about him and Sirius kept riding in to his mind in ways that Remus would never tell Sirius.
"You having fun?" A husky voice broke Remus from his trance. Remus shook his head slightly and lifted it up, pretending to be exasperated with the boy behind him.
"I was until someone came and so kindly interrupted me doing my essay." Remus snapped, his cheeks becoming pink because of his lie. Yes, his essay was sitting in front if him, but it was half finished and barely touched that day. This was extremely rare for someone like Remus.
"Really?" Sirius raised his eyebrows and put his elbow on Remus' chair then putting his chin in his hand, "You haven't touched it for five minutes, you only keep fidgeting and blushing." This flushed Remus' face an even harsher shade of pink, making Sirius grin at his beauty. It's rather strange really, you can be completely oblivious about someone liking you, but it can be as clear as crystal when you see someone else crushing on another.
"I'm... thinking of what to write next." Remus lied, turning his head towards Sirius' direction and smiling triumphantly. Terrible lie, in Sirius' opinion, he was so clearly fantasising about some pretty girl or whatever. And he was jealous. Very jealous.
"Mmm," Sirius mused, leaning closer towards Remus' ear, "sure it wasn't about your crush?" Remus turned a violent shade of red now, and though Sirius was still standing behind him, he noticed it very clearly. Remus shuffled and felt himself become sweaty in between his legs. Oh, crap.
"Wha- I have no idea what your talking about!" Remus whisper yelled as Madam Pince walked by, her cold slits for eyes searching around for canoodling couples or screaming students.
"You sure? Is it that-that Emma Starling or maybe Seraphina Bridget?" Sirius plucked two girls from the top of his head and hoped with every muscle in his body that Remus wouldn't like them.
"No, definitely not. Emma's always talking how Ravenclaw's the best and Seraphina asks too many questions about you." Remus picked up his crimson and gold quill and twiddled it in his fingers. Sirius' hot breath was wafting its way around his body and he was getting hotter by the second. Something must've happened to him because this never happened to nerdy Remus Lupin.
"You certainly seem to be getting hotter." Sirius whispered, rubbing his nose against the cheek of Remus. Remus, rather reluctantly, enjoyed the warm sensation spreading on the exact bit Sirius touched.
"I hate you so much." Remus replied, finally giving in. Sirius' eyes widened. He expected Remus to deny it again, but judging by the look on his face, he seemed to enjoy it. Maybe he did have a chance. Sirius roughly turned Remus' chair so that it was facing him, but inthe process, a loud screech sounded when the wooden chair and wooden floor rubbed against each other.
"Crap, hide." Sirius ordered as he heard the pounding steps of Madam Pince nearing. Remus panicked and quickly cast a Disillusionment Charm upon him. Sirius stood for approximately 3 seconds running next to a bookshelf. Madam Pince walked by once more, glaring here and there, before she decided it was just a Peeves whose been silenced. Almost as if on cue, Remus' charm was starting to fade.
"Now, where were we?" Sirius asked, advancing towards Remus. Grabbing Sirius by the tie, Remus pulled him down and planted a kiss on his lips.
