There was a slight cold breeze entering the room. The curtains danced as the air pushed into the small opening of the window. I lay sprawled out on our queen sized bed, blanket lazily thrown over my figure.
"(N/N)!" A cheery deep voice called from beyond the bedroom door, a distant sound of something sizzling on the stove grew an interest in me. "Get out of bed already, it's 10 in the morning."
I groaned loudly, pulling myself off of the bed and onto the soft carpet.
It was a peaceful morning. Mornings like this one only happened every so often thanks to how busy we were, but that just made it all the more valuable.
I padded down the softly lit hallway. "Yeah?" I called out once I reached the kitchen, rubbing my tired eyes.
"I'm making breakfast," I nodded happily, wrapping my arms around his midsection as he was occupied making food. "It's American style. Pancakes and bacon!"
"That sounds delightful." I said sleepily. Taehyung let out a airy chuckle, putting his large hand over my smaller ones. I gently squeezed his soft stomach with my hands. He jumped up with a cute giggle escaping his lips.
"It's ready. Go sit down, baby," He teased. His laugh got louder as I stayed locked in place. "If that's how you want it." He picked me up and took me over to the kitchen table.
"Thanks!" I shouted cutely. I bet he was smiling as he walked away. "This looks so good." My mouth was wide open when the food was in my line of sight.
"Of course. It did take forever to learn how to do though." I shook my head. This was so easy to do, but that's just Taehyung.
We ate slowly, savoring the time together and of course, the food. I glanced over Taehyung's face as I chewed on a pancake. He wore a smile that could compete against the sun and his deep brown eyes were full of life.
We had graduated high school last year, along with most of our friends. The only one that was still in school was Sumin. Everyone was happy. Sumin was still with Heejung. I had called her the other day and she sounded even more in love with her than the day she introduced me to her.
All the boys worked in what they were passionate in. Hoseok and Jimin both become dancers who have just recently began to get recognized in the dance industry. Yoongi and Namjoon, who both were always interested in songwriting and producing, got hired at an entertainment company. Jin and Jungkook were the only ones who continued with their studies, Jungkook a film major and Jin a theater major.
I glanced up at the clock. A rush of excitement washed over my body as I jumped out of the seat and into the living room to find the remote control. "It's 10:30! The program is starting, Tae." I squealed, rushing back to my seat as the television started up.
"I knew you wouldn't forget. Hurry, I want to watch too!" Taehyung jumped in his seat. I flipped through the television guide until I found Inkigayo.
Both Hana and I began working at the entertainment company that scouted us at the competition two years ago. I had made my decision to just be a backup dancer for idols and see where that took me but Hana always wanted to perform with the spotlight on her. She began her training ever since then.
Hana debuted in a girl group with four other girls. I remember going to their debut stage and cheering my heart out for her and the group. Their song charted well but they still need to work a lot more to be considered a successful group.
Taehyung and I both promised Hana to watch her stages whenever we could. So there we sat, singing along with food in our mouths and eyes glued to the television.

"Let me see," Taehyung asked with a serious tone in his voice. He was always serious when it came to photography. I passed the camera along to him. He looked at the screen showing the picture and studied it.
