From Rage to Thump [Complete]

Scene 9: Hide and seek

This is quite a long chapter. I really wanted to finish this ark with one chapter and move on with sweetness and progress but as I've mentioned before, this will make Prem and Wad closer.

Wad woke up in an unfamiliar room. He felt his body was aching.

"What happened?" he thought.

His wrist and feet were tied. His lips were sealed by a piece of tape preventing him to speak and seek for help. Wad noticed that he was still wearing his basketball jersey, the one he had when the chaotic argument with Third and Rina happened.

"When did I get here? I remember I was on the University track oval."

Wad scanned the place. It was too dark for him to see the whole place but he recognized that it was an old room with chairs and single tables resembling a classroom. Where he might be?

After some minutes trying to decipher how he can escape, he heard footsteps coming towards the only door in the room. Clever enough, he pretended to be still asleep.

The door creaked and he felt that there was a presence who entered the room. Wad heard some sounds of plastics ruffled. Then, he felt a warm hand touching his chin. A little bit of pain was felt by Wad when the hand of that person removed the tape on his lips enabling him now to speak.

"Sorry for those wounds. You'll be fine here." the voice said.

Wad wanted to open his eyes but somehow he was afraid to do so because he's afraid to acknowledge the truth if ever. While he was having a battle inside his head whether he will respond to the other person inside the room or not, he heard the door creaked again and a sound of locking. With that, he concluded that the person left already. The young lad slowly opened his eyes trying to take a peek to ensure that there was no longer any human presence aside from him in the room.

A lampshade was left open lighting up the room. He noticed some food container left in a small table beside the lamp. He tried to stand up, only to find out that the things restraining him to move was a pair of shackles in his feet and wrists. The cold metal of chains were long enough for him to move freely around the room but prevents him from reaching the door.

The young man felt his stomach growls and decided to eat the food in front of him. Upon finishing his meal, Wad stroll around the whole room with the little light he had, the room was still dim but he can see some things. When he approached one corner of the room, suddenly he felt his whole-body cold. What he saw made him somewhat scared. He gulped while his eyes roam around the room.

The walls of the room have many pictures, all of it was him during his high school years until present. Mostly stolen shots, but the photographs clearly show all of his emotions from angry to disappointed, happy to bored, and many more.

"Who the hell did this? It's insane." Wad whispered to himself.

Why was he involved in this again? Wad shook his head to think again how he can escape from the shackles and cage like a prisoner.

Meanwhile, Prem went to the building of the Computer and Technology Faculty to meet with someone.

"N'Prem, over here." he heard a voice calling his name.

"Sawadee P'In." Prem wai and greeted his senior whom he had a good relationship.

"Nong, I had the information you asked for but things were too complicated that's why I needed to speak with you. Take a seat." In stated, who was also part of the Engineering faculty majoring in Information technology.
