Scene 16: The Book Knows

Everyone, sorry for the long wait of update. I have the Scene 16 finished already but I'm trying to finish the 17 for me to have double update, but I guess it's impossible. Anyway! Here's a fluffy and ever brave Prem for you.

Wad was on his way now going back to Bangkok. Third didn't go with him because he needs to settle some things first. Wish eventually have forgiven their father and decided to move on. Everything seems good for now.

It was late afternoon when he arrived in Bangkok. Wad tried to keep it low because he wanted to surprise everyone. He got souvenirs for his friends and the seniors. He was oozing with bright aura, contrary from his usual one.

He went straight to his apartment to put his stuff but to his surprise, someone was standing in front of his apartment's door.

"P'Prem?" his heart started to beat fast like a rumbling drum roll.

The senior waved at him with a faint smile. Wad walked slowly towards the taller guy not breaking their eye contact. "Why're you here, P?"

"I'm hungry so you need to come with me."

"Huh?"

"Drop your stuff in your room now and we'll eat outside."

Wad who was still trying to comprehend everything nodded to his senior to agree.

The two went to a nice cozy restaurant near the area. Wad was still in a daze but he followed Prem like a lost puppy.

"What do you want to eat? My treat." Prem said.

"No, I can..." before Wad finished his sentence, the senior stared at him as if telling him not to argue anymore.

Wad chose a meal from the menu and pointed it to the waiter who was waiting beside their table. After a few minutes, their order arrived.

Prem got Wad's plate as soon it was served. The junior was startled but didn't say anything. Instead, he watched his senior doing something on his meal.

"Why would you order this when it has carrots on it?" Prem asked then he gave Wad his plate back.

Upon looking on his plate, Wad noticed something. All carrots were gone. He looked at Prem with wide eyes.

"What? Aren't you gonna eat? It's getting cold." Prem said.

"Why did you...?"

"I got all your carrots, eat now. (or I'll eat you. Stop staring, idiot. I'm nervous as f**k here)" Prem's thoughts was playing inside his head again.

Wad nodded at him and eat his meal silently. The mood between the two was calming but at the same time it's nerve wrecking. After they had their lunch, Prem dragged Wad to a nearby mall.

"Come with me for a while. I need to buy some stuff."

The junior only obeyed and follow his senior like a loyal dog. They went to a book store. Prem started looking for some books. Wad, on the other hand was also a good reader so he scanned some books as well. He was about to go back to the counter after picking a book he liked when he felt someone tapped his shoulder from behind.

"Did you get something?" Prem asked without showing any smile, the usual hazer facade he had.

Wad nodded at him. "Then, let's pay for it now. Mind holding my books?" Prem asked again, and the junior nodded without any retort. He looked at the book that his senior put on the basket he was holding.his eyes widened upon reading the title, HOW TO SAY I LOVE YOU?
