Monday. Wad put on his uniform looking elegant in it's black and white combination. He went out with earphone plugged in his ear listening to some music.
When he arrived in the university, he walked and passed by the hazing team.
"Sawadee N'Wad." Bright refreshingly greeted.
This time Prem was with the group. The junior wai at them but left afterwards after giving respect.
"Is something wrong with N'Wad. He seems like he's in his period." Toota commented.
Knot and Arthit looked at Prem but the latter only shrugged his shoulder. It looks like he didn't care but Prem was actually bothered by Wad's silence.
Kongpob noticed too during their class hours that Wad was exceptionally quiet.
"Is something wrong Ai'Wad?" he asked in a low voice.
His friend only shakes his head implying that he's good. Kongpob was not convinced though.
It was Friday now and everything seems strange to Kongpob. Wad was too silent and he didn't even bother to look for Prem or even ask about his senior. He was showing his old self, the old Wad they knew who was aloof and distant.
They have a game against the Management Faculty. If they win the game, they will secure a spot for semi-finals.
Wad was still the best, he scored and nailed his shots perfectly. Prem was watching from the audience along with the other seniors.
"Wad was too quiet this week. Did he swallow his own tongue?" Bright murmured while munching some chips.
"I agree. He seems...distant?" Arthit seconded with a question.
Prem heard them but was too focused on the game. It was then that he noticed that the Management Faculty was getting physical with Wad.
A guy taller than Wad, probably a senior as well was trying to break free from Wad's pace but when he didn't he used his elbow to hit Wad just above his eyebrow when the latter bent down to do a cross-over.
The referee didn't saw it but Prem and the other from the audience did.
"That's a foul!!" Prem shouted.
Wad didn't get distracted by it though he was completely pissed off because that hurts a lot. He still managed to pass the ball to Kongpob who had successfully made that shot, gaining an assist score for Wad.
Their coach called for a time-out who was now on the verge of exploding because of an uncalled dirty foul. When the players seated, Wad had a few seconds of blurred vision.
"Ai'Wad, you're bleeding." Aim said looking worried to his friend.
Prem and the other seniors got down and went to the bench of the Engineering faculty. Just before Prem got near to the players, Third cut in the scene together with his men.
"I am? Can you make it stop coach? I can still play." Wad said while he wiped the blood dripping on his face.
"No you can't. How many is this?" Third suddenly said appearing from nowhere then showing his index finger to his cousin.
