“So,” he said after a while, breaking the silence. “You liked me so much you decided to follow me home, huh?” I blinked. Once. Twice.

“I-wait, what?” He raised an eyebrow, and I felt my cheeks grow warmer. “I did not follow you, okay? I live next door, and my mom told me to give this,” I showed him the bag, and he took it as I continued, “to you. So, you moved in last night?”

“I wish I did,” he replied, grinning at me. “Cameron lives here, I just came by to hang out. I’ll certainly be coming here to hang out more often though, now that I know you live here.”

Cameron is one of Reece’s friends. Well, more like only. It wasn’t that he was unpopular, but Reece was the type who just couldn’t care less about anyone at school. That is, except for Cameron.

I rolled my eyes, and gestured towards the bag. “Just give it to his parents, okay?” He hesitated a little, then his eyes seemed to light up as he thought of something.

“Why don’t you come in and hang out with us?”

“Uh, why would I want to watch you and Cameron play video games?”

“Because we’re hot?” He suggested, smirking. I raised an eyebrow, even though Cameron was definitely the second hottest guy in our school, with his light blond hair and gorgeous blue eyes. The first, by the way, was Reece. “Fine. Since someone is still in denial,” I shot him a glare and opened my mouth to protest, but he just continued. “Then, uh, because I asked you to?”

“Great reason, genius. I’m not your slave, you know.”

        He pouted. “Please?”

“Sure,” his face lit up, and I almost felt bad when I added; “when hell freezes over.” His face fell, and I had to stop myself from taking back my words. Why do all the evil people look so cute? Okay, so maybe evil is a bit too over, but still.

“How about this? If you don’t want your notebook to end up in a trashcan, ripped up into pieces, you have to come hang out with us.” My mouth dropped open in disbelief. You know what; I take it back. He is evil.

        “Are you kidding me?”

He tilted his head to the side, a small smirk on his face. “Do I look like I’m kidding? Don’t answer that.” I glared at him, wanting to rip that smirk right off his face. Actually no, that’ll be kind of creepy. Like really creepy. Er, back to the topic.

        “Dude, what’s taking so long?”

A shirtless Cameron appeared beside Reece. His blond hair was messy in a way that made people- well, okay, me –want to run their fingers through his hair. He had a similar build like Reece: tall, lean, muscular but not that muscular. How the hell did I not notice him and Reece more before?

“Hey there, what’s your name?” Cameron smiled at me flirtatiously, making me want to roll my eyes. Reece, apparently, had the same thought as me, because he rolled his eyes and leaned left onto the door frame.

“Really, Cameron?” Cameron grinned and shrugged at Reece, as if to say why not? before turning back to me.

“So, what did this asshole do now?” He asked, earning a glare from Reece, but making me laugh.

“He threatened to end my notebook’s life if I didn’t come in to hang out with you guys,” I replied. Cameron gasped dramatically, then turned to Reece with a mock horrified expression on his face.
