Christmas disaster

Ryan's PoV

Andy is finally discharged from the Hospital and we decided to go home to celebrate what's left of Christmas! We invited Hannah to come round and stay the night because we don't want anything happening to her as well. As we drove home no one dared to break the silence. It was too frightening and real. I wonder how long it will be like this. Andy is in the passenger seat and Adam is driving. I'm sitting in the back with Hannah. She looks torn to absolute pieces. Something inside tells me that Joel in a coma isn't the only thing bothering her.

We arrive at the Lawson house but it doesn't feel right. I brave myself and open the car door, everyone continues to stay still. Staring ahead and only ahead. It's like they've been taken over by robots that only take commands from some psycho bald guy. I never knew a guy so secretly despicable could mean the world to loads of people.

Eventually everyone came inside, and Adam spoke up.

"I'm gonna head out and get some food."

Andy piped in as well, "I'll come as well."

And just like that me and Hannah have the whole house to ourselves.. It has never been so easy to get rid of the lads.

I look at Hannah, she gives a glimpse my direction and quickly turns her head to the ground. Something's wrong..

"Honey, what's up?' I walk towards her to take her sweet, soft and smooth hands.

"It's nothing." Hannah sniffles ever so slightly. "Ry, honestly I'm fine." She looks me in the eyes.

"Hannah, you can tell me anything. You know that right?" Hannah doesn't say anything. She just walks away heading upstairs. How can she not trust me?

Hannah's PoV

For flip sake, I'm such a fuck up! Why can't I just do something right for once? I want to tell Ryan everything. And open up about my past but he's not going to be able to take it. No one has. I always have to ruin things like this, I wish I could be normal for one second. Maybe this is the moment.. I mean there's no point on carrying on, things will get worse. It will just be easier to end it. Right now.

Adam's PoV

Everything was getting better until I get a phone call from Ryan.. He told me and Andy to get home immediately. Hannah locked herself in the bathroom and hasn't been replying for ages. Andy, on the way back confessed his feelings for Hannah. Even thought I thought he was still caught up with Emily.. I told Andy what Joel told me before the crash. I guessed it was the right timing. It wasn't.

We ditched our shopping in the car and dashed upstairs. We saw Ryan desperately kicking down the door but he was in too much of a state to try his hardest. I had pulled him to the side whilst Andy gives his all. On the third kick the hinges fly off and the door falls. Knives, blood, Hannah. What we saw was the end of the hardest battle any person could go through. Devastation of Hannah's destruction overtook us. I never saw Andy and Ryan cry so much. Nothing could make any of this better. That was when I got a phone call from the hospital. Joel has woken up. I didn't feel anything after I heard that. All I could remember was how much I let Hannah down. I made a promise that I would look after her. But now look at what had happened.

We're currently at the Hospital. Again. The doctors said that Hannah has lost a lot of blood and will stay in their care for a whole week or unless she starts to show signs of rapid improvements. Unfortunately the doctors are quite doubtful at the moment. I decide, out of boredom to visit Joel alone. He grins as I enter.

"Knew I'd be seeing your face soon." Joel smugly says.

"Joel..Hannah, she's in a unconscious state."

"Fuck..What happened?"

"She cut herself."

"Crikey not again.."

"Wait...again? JOEL! YOU COULD'VE TOLD US!" I want to punch that son of a.. So much right now.

"Dude! Relax! We don't want to attract unwanted attention do we now?" He's got a point.

"..How long ago?"

"I found out the day of the crash..however long ago that was. Although it kinda sounded like it's been going on for awhile.."

A nurse interrupted us to tell me that visiting hours are now over. I head back to the waiting room, replaying everything Joel said. The weirdest thing is that he sounded like he actually cared. But it's total bullshit.
