"Jace this is Jane she's going to be your peer buddy today," my dad says

"Hi Jace I'm going to give you a tour of the school and if you have any questions about anything just ask me," I say trying to sound inviting

I honestly cannot focus with Jace, his hotness is blurring my brain. God, I never think like a girl this is how it feels like?

"Thank you, Jane"

"Jace I hope you have a good day you're in good hands," my dad says

"Bye dad love you," I say going over and kissing him on the cheek.

I walk out of the door and Jace follows me. I'm greeted by a very puzzled Alex.

"Jane I need your help she's still pissed," Alex says doing something weird with his hands

"Hot piece of meat by the way," he says looking at Jace making Jace chuckle.

"I'll talk to her go to class," I say reassuring him

"Thanks, Jane love you," Alex says giving me a quick hug and then storming off

"So where are you from?" I ask trying to make a conversation with the new kid

"Sydney you?"

"Melbourne born and raised," I say and he laughs

"You're a Melbourny" I start laughing and he does too

"You're so creative," I tell him and he shrugs

"I was wondering if you could show me where I can sign up for the football team," he asks

"I'll show you where you can sign up after school I have practice anyways"I answer

"You're on the football team?" he asks

"Yes the only girl"

"nice meet the next potential football captain" he teases

"Let's see you at tryouts don't get too ahead of yourself coach doesn't like that," I say

The bell rings and I take that as a sign of class starting.

"Our first class is maths"

Maths is honestly the most painful subject but it happens to be one of the most important subjects if not the most important.

Me and Jace are sitting next to each other since we were both late to class my teacher thought it would be a good idea to pair us up. Nothing wrong with that on my side.

I look over and see him doodling hearts on his maths book.
I try to hold back laughter but fail terribly.
"What I like drawing hearts," he says in a serious tone making me rethink laughing. Almost...

I look at his face and see him almost explode with laughter I join him and now everyone is looking at us.

"Excuse me do you both need some time outside," my maths teacher asks in a serious tone

We start laughing again.

"Both of you get out of my classroom NOW this behavior is not acceptable" we both stand up from our chairs pack up our things and leave the classroom laughing.

"Is this always maths class?" Jace asks smiling at me

"No but I was starting to make her like me," I say

"I'm bored of school wanna get out?" He asks

"Sure" I answer

Now I don't support anyone skipping school this early in the morning but I honestly couldn't care less. My dad was the principal I'll take it up with him tonight.

Me and Jace are walking out of school and he's leading me to his car. My phone beeps and I open the text I got from the group chat.

Nicole: Where are you, Jane? With a cute blond hottie?

Alex: Eye cheating

Me: skipping school

Nicole: he makes you skip school bad boy alert

Ian: stop texting school and congratulations, Jane 😏

Alex: If he DARES to hurt you I WILL KILL HIM 🔪

Me: SHUT UP 🤦‍♀️

I tread behind him as he leads me to a big black motorcycle that's probably more expensive than my car.

Me: he has a motorcycle 🏍🔫

Nicole: Bad Boy 😏

I close my phone trying not to be rude.

He gets on the bike and puts on his helmet he now stares at me to get on. He holds another helmet in his hand.

"How do I get on?" I ask

"Helmet and hold on to me"

Hold on to him. God my hormones are getting a kick at it today. THEY ARE WAKING UP FROM YEARS OF HIBERNATION.

I put on my helmet and hold on to his waist. He starts the motor of the bike which is very loud. He takes his hands of the steer and puts my hands on his stomach making me blush. My heart melts at his touch.

"Safety first kids," he says making me blush.

We arrive at the town's diner and he takes off his helmet.

"You took me out of school to go to a diner?" I ask

"You're too into me to say no so I brought you to get food"he answers 

"Oh and by the way I forgot my wallet "

"Let me get things clear the only reason I'm here is because my dad made me your peer buddy," I say biting into my burger

"Yeah right"

"I still hate you jerk" I argue 

"No one could ever hate me I'm hotter than the sun"

"Which is why you will burn in hell," I say

He takes the fries from my plate and eats them while looking at me.

"You still think I'm not hot?" he asks smiling

"I would never think that like ever" I lie 

"Well see about that"

We enter the school right before football practice starts.

"Goodluck with the coach Jace" 

"Good luck with keeping your position as almost team captain" he teases

"Coach loves me" I boast
