After three failed attempts of calling Danny, we finally get it going. I call Penelope over.

"So Danny, this is my best friend Penelope. She's a huge fan and she just had to meet you."

"Well hello there Penelope!" She looks like she's about to faint.

"H...hi." She stammers. Danny laughs.

"How was the show?" I ask.

"Fantastic as always." He smiles, his usual charming smile.

"Great!" I return the smile.

"Hey, so we're going to dinner now, I'll call in the morning. Sorry I have to leave so fast, I want to leave now so I don't have to go with Ryan at 11:30."

"Totally got it darling." I wink. I hang up.

"OH MY GOD!" Penelope looks like she's going to scream...or faint. Nope, scream. She screams and jumps around. "You weren't at all starstruck when you met him?" She uses huge, dramatic hand gestures.

"I'd like to believe it was love at first sight. In fact, that's what it was."

"Well of course! That's what every fan of The Script thinks!!"

"No, like he loved me too." I know that's what it was. That whole night, eating out, everything, we couldn't keep our eyes off of each other. When we got time to talk alone, I had butterflies, my hands were sweating, it wasn't the feeling of meeting your idol, it was the feeling of meeting someone you knew you loved. I almost told him, but I didn't. It would've been weird. Penelope is jealous, and jealousy is never a good thing. She'll do anything to get him away from me.

"You're dating, aren't you?"

"Yeah, we are." Damn it, that sounds nice.

The last two days I spent wisely, packing, planning, working. Mostly packing...and lusting over Danny. He virtually helped me pack, along with Mark and Glen. They had nothing else to do, so they helped me pack. Our trip is all done, thanks to me. Danny wasn't much help, I didn't expect anything different. I'm leaving for Pearson in an hour and I'm already freaking out. I have all of my bags by the door and I'm rounding up all of the others things I need. Penelope comes to pick me up for the airport. We say our goodbyes, a few tears involved.

"Be good."

"Be good flew out the window as soon as I met Danny." I laugh and walk off to get my bags weighed. I go through every fucking stupid security procedure and go over to my gate. I have to wait a bit to board the plane, but it's not too bad. All I can god damn think about while I'm in the plane is 'this plane better not fucking crash'. I'm terrified of death. My mom died of cancer when I was eight. But before I was eight, I was under the custody of my dad and never saw my mom. I'd rather not have met her at all then having to meet her and then watch her die. Growing up without a mom was hard. Then my dad died when I was twenty one.

I get let out after hell. The plane ride was terrible, I could barely keep my eyes open, not because I was tired. "Danny!!" I jump into his arms. He holds me tight. "God I missed you."

"I missed you too darling." He squeezes me tighter in his grasp.

"I'm so ready for Dublin as long as you sedate me on the plane ride."

"Are you scared of plane rides?"

"No, I'm scared of death." I say honestly. Danny puts me down and grabs my hands, looking straight into my eyes.

"Tell me all about it later, I need to know. Lets go first." We head hand in hand over to catch a cab. Danny puts my stuff in the back and gets in.
