Alec's POV

In walked Imogen. "So Mr. Lightwood. How are things going at the institute?"

"Very good. Everything here has been going very smoothly."

"That's good. How's Olivia?"

My heart starts to beat faster. "Olivia is great. She loves her room."

"Really? Where is she?"

"She is with Clary. I had some work and she went to train so she took her."

"Okay, well lets talk about this institute."

Clary's POV- After Alec left

Well it looks like I'm going to hold these deadly weapons around this innocent baby, this is going to go wrong. When I got to the training room I put Olivia on the bench with my water and towel. Olivia was still asleep so I had a little bit of time to train before she needed to eat something. I grab the bow staff and start to attack my invisible enemy. I didn't want to wake Olivia so I was really trying not to make any noise. After a little bit I lean the bow staff on the wall and walk over to Olivia and see that she is still sleeping. I can't help but smile at her. I hear a type of scratching and I look over my shoulder to see what it was. To my horror the bow staff was falling to the floor. When it hit the floor it made a huge sound. To top that off the baby woke up and started crying at the top of her lungs. "Shh. Shh"

I run to the kitchen leaving everything in the training room. When I get there Izzy and Jace are standing around the counter. The first one to notice me is Jace and he looks at me with shock and horror. "What's wrong? Is everything okay? What happened?" Jace said.

"You do not get to ask questions! It's fine, she just got scared and woke. I'm just going to get her a bottle." I replied.

"I can help." Jace said.

"I don't need your help." I go to the fridge and grab a bottle I had made. I gave it to Olivia and was completely ready to fall on the floor and sleep. When she finished the bottle I grabbed a towel from under the sink. I put it over my shoulder and pat Olivia's back on the towel. Turning to Izzy. "So what is new with you?"

"Nothing. Well I could say not as much as you. How have you been? I heard about everything." She turned to Jace and gave him an evil look. It was hilarious, if only looks could kill.

"Everything is pretty crazy, and Alec isn't..." Before I could finish the baby burped and simultaneously throwing up. The towel I had put on my shoulder did little to no good. I could feel it going down my back and felt like I was going to throw up aswell.

"Oh, Honey." Izzy said as she saw my face. She wiped up what she could from my back but there was definitely going to leave a stain.

"I think I'm going to go for a walk with her and I'll be back to give her lunch."

I leave the kitchen to change, but then I realize I never changed from this mornings run. I put Olivia in the baby stroller and started for the park.
