Chapter 11: I can't help but worry about her

Clary's POV

Glimmers of light crept into my vision, but with that so did the pain. I groan as I try to move. Bad idea. The pain just got worse. I scream out in pain as jolt of electricity ran through my veins. When it finally stopped, air seemed to be so far away. It felt like I have been there for days, and Alec hasn't found me yet. I couldn't blame him. I really am not expecting to get out. I can feel my body getting weaker by the minute. I can feel my strength leaving me...

Alec's POV

8. 8 days. Clary has been gone for 8 days. She could be dead for all I know. Who knows what he could be doing to her. I was knocked out of my thoughts with the computer going off. We found Clary. I quickly tell Izzy to pass the word as I grab my gear. When I walk back into the main room with four people standing in front of me: Luke, Izzy, Magnus, and Jace. Why the hell is Jace here. It's not like he even cares about her. Forget that. I have to find Clary. "Ok so we have found Clary's location. I have called all of you here so we can get her back. If you are prepared to fight we will get her back." I said.

"I'm in." Said Luke.

"Me too." Said Izzy.

"So am I." Said Magnus.

"Same here." Said Jace. Hearing him say that he wanted to help her made my blood boil.

"Then lets go. She's counting on us."

I start to walk away but Izzy grabbed my hand. "Don't worry Alec. We are going to save her, tonight."

"I can't help but be worried, Izzy. I..." I didn't finish that sentence. I could tell my sister that the person whose mother I killed is now someone that I couldn't imagine my life without. I continue my way out the door and to the place Clary was. 'Hold on Clary. we're on our way'.

Clary's POV

I scream again, and again, and again, but the pain doesn't stop. "Why are you doing this?" I ask Sebastian.

I don't get an answer only more pain. "Ohhh, little sister. You know nothing." I expect the pain to come again but it doesn't. I reluctantly open my eyes and see nothing. No Sebastian. Where did he go? Then someone blurry comes into my vision. I think it's Sebastian. I close my eyes and feel a tear run down my cheek. I feel a hand go on my shoulder and I try to push off, but the sudden movement made all the pain some to the surface. I scream out again and almost pass out. I feel a familiar hand touch my cheek and wipe the tears away.

"Clary?" The person said. "Can you hear me?" Alec. The voice was Alec.

The only thing I can do is moan in pain as a response. The binds that held my hands were broken but I couldn't get up. I was too weak. I felt strong arms wrap around my body and lift me up from the chair. I lay my head on his shoulder and start to black out. The last thing I hear is "Don't worry Clary. I've got you." I don't think I have felt that safe in a while.
