Alec's POV

I pull myself away from the hug and stare into the most beautiful I have ever seen. I was looking into Clary's eyes. Which means that I am me, Alec. We're back to normal, but how? "Alec?" She said in a whisper.

"How...?" I can't seem to pull my eyes away from hers. She hugs me again and I wrap my arms around her, my eyes still in the same spot. I can't believe that this is happening. She lets go of me with a huge smile on her face.

"We're back to normal."

"We are." I said laughing. "Now my day was long and I am exhausted so I'm going to bed." I let go of her quickly and walk to the bed trying to hide the smile that was clearly on my face. I pull the covers over my face and she leaves to change and check on Olivia.

I was so tired that the second I placed my head on the pillow I fall asleep instantly.

The next morning

I woke up to the sound of a huge bang coming from the baby room. "Olivia!" I said breathlessly jumping out of the bed. I grab my seraph blade and run to the baby's door. The only sound I hear coming from the room is the small sound of a baby crying. I throw carful out the window when I think someone is hurting Olivia. I burst through the door and find the room completely messed up. Things were laying everywhere, Furniture was tipped over, and the window was broken. I ran to the crib and Olivia was fine. There was nothing that could hurt her but something certainly scared her. "Hey Sweetie. Are you ok?" I pick her up out of the crib and bounced her up and down trying to calm her down. Laying next to her was a folded piece of paper with my name neatly written on it. I pick up the note and read it.

Alec

Sorry I didn't say hello. I truly miss the fights we had. Sorry to tell you like this but you will not be seeing Clary anymore.

-Sebastian
