"Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege. Should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in any way, that privilege shall not be extended again." Professor McGonagall announced as all the 3rd years gathered at the Viaduct Courtyard.

"Those with permissions, follow me. Those without, stay put." Filch said as the last of us gave him their permission forms.

It was finally time for the Hogsmeade visit! This is what I've been looking forward to since I got back to Hogwarts. I couldn't wait to go to Honeydukes, The Three Broomsticks and of course Zonko's joke shop! Today was a beautiful cool day and the snow had already built up. I finally get to wear my comfy coats and even have snowball fights. I told Ron to watch his back cause I might just hit him with a snowball, and he knows how hard I throw.
Hermione, Ron and I walked towards Harry who was talking to McGonagall; most likely trying to get her to sign his permission form. Those Dursley prunes! They always treat Harry bad! Sometimes I just wish he could move in with us or at least over at Ron's so we can treat him like how a real family should.

"Forget about it guys. See ya later." Harry said as he gave us a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

I hated that he couldn't go with us and I couldn't help but hug my best friend.

"Go on, Leah. Have fun." Harry said as we pulled apart.

The three of us jogged towards the rest of the group and occasionally looked back at Harry until he eventually went back inside the castle.

"This sucks." I mumbled, kicking a small patch of snow that clumped up. "I was looking forward to a good snowball fight."

"You can still have one.. with Ron at least." Hermione smirked at Ron.

"Uhh.. I think my wrist is still sprained from the last one." Ron said as I playfully bumped him.

"That was a year ago, Ronald!" I said, smacking him on the arm.

"Wicked!" Ron exclaimed as we entered Zonko's joke shop.

Ron insisted we head to Honeydukes first so we would have something to munch on while walking, but for me, it looked like my bag could last me a whole month! I couldn't help but grab at least two pieces of each candy that was on the shelves. I was mesmerized by all the colors and flavors that I had to try them all! I also wanted to get Harry something since he couldn't be here so I think I've got a good reason to get a lot of these delectable sweets!
Our next stop was Zonko's! This was where I really wanted to go. I wanted to stock up on some Inflatable Tongues and Chinese Fortune Sticks and maybe even get myself a Pygmy Puff.

"This is probably your dream closet, huh Leah?" Hermione teased as I closed my mouth that seemed to have dropped.

Ron and I scrambled around like little kids while Hermione looked around calmly, occasionally shaking her head in amusement at us.

"Leah look!" Ron said as he grabbed a circular object off a shelf. "Sneakoscopes!"

"I definitely NEED one of those!" I said grabbing my own.

"Ugh, 8 Galleons? What a rip off!" Ron groaned, putting the Sneakoscope back.

I looked at him with sad eyes. "Go on, Ron. Take one." I said.

"But I can't really afford that." he blushed.

"It's on me." I said as I gave him the Sneakoscope.

"Really? You're the best, Leah!" he said as he hugged me.

We all purchased our goods and headed out the door.
