George's POV

After breakfast, we headed out of the Burrow just as the sun was rising, towards.. well, we didn't know exactly. Dad wouldn't tell us even though we were nagging him all summer. I was just really glad I finally got to see Leah. I missed her a lot, especially since we hardly got to talk last school year. I kept all her letters in a box under my bed. Too sentimental of me, but I didn't care. They were important because they were from her. Now, instead of writing how much I wanted to hug her, I finally could. Hell, I could hug her all day. Wait.. what?

"You alright there, Georgie?" Fred said, putting me out of my thoughts as he patted me on the back, surprising me.

"Ye-yeah." I said, glancing at Leah who was in front, diagonal from me.

"Ron? Where are we actually going?" Harry asked behind us as we neared the forest.

"I dunno." Ron said, irritated by his big bag. "Hey dad! Where are we goin'?!"

"In the forest!" Dad answered, not obvious enough. "Keep up!"

Not before long, we saw a man waiting by a tree with a huge smile on his face.

"Arthur! It's about time, son!" the man said approaching us, carrying a huge bag, not including the one on his back.

"Sorry, Amos! Some of us had a sleepy start." Dad said, glancing back at Ron, who was in mid-yawn. "This is Amos Diggory everyone! He works with me at the ministry."

Mr. Diggory nodded at us with a smile.

"And this-" Dad started as a tall figure dropped from the trees next to Mr. Diggory, making Ginny stop midway, with me bumping her from behind. "And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?" Dad said as the Diggory boy shook his hand, answering "Yes, sir."

The three girls looked at each other in unison, like they were reading each others minds. I noticed Leah's cheeks turned pink as Hermione whispered something to her. It made me annoyed.

"Can you keep your feelings a little more discrete?" Fred teased, putting his arm around me.

"Shut up." I said, bumping him off me as the group started to walk on again.

We made it to the end of the forest and towards a wheat field with hills. I could distinctly see an object on top of one of the hills.. a boot?

"Is that it?" Dad asked as Ginny went ahead towards the boot.

"Ah! There it is!" Mr. Diggory said.

"Come on! We don't want to be late!" Dad said as we gathered around the worn out shoe.

"Why are they standing around that manky, ol' boot?" Harry asked, sounding a bit cranky from the walk.

"Oh, it's not just any ol' manky ol' boot, mate." Fred said, kneeling next to Leah.

"It's a port key!" I added as I kneeled on the other side of Leah.

"A'right, gang! Let's go! Come on!" Dad said as everyone put their hand on the boot, except for a confused Harry.

"What's a port key?!" Harry asked as Leah giggled and Ginny rolled her eyes, smiling.

"Ready? Off at three!" Mr. Diggory said as I put only my index finger on the boot, making Leah look at me as if saying I'm a show off.

"TWO!" Mr. Diggory counted down.

"Harry!!" Dad shouted, making Harry quickly grab on to the boot as Mr. Diggory counted "THREE!"

And soon, we were surrounded by clouds, spinning faster and faster into the sky as some of us were screaming.

"Let go children!" Dad said as a confused Hermione apposed. "LET GO!"
