It's been a week and I haven't heard anything from Dice, I tried going over to his house a couple of times but no one came to the door. I don't know what to do, because I've been planning a surprise for the both of us, but I first need to see if he's able to. So I decided to call him for probably the millionth time "C'mon pick up" I mumble to myself, shortly after I hear someone pick up the other end "H-hello?" Answered Dice "Finally, I've been trying to contact you for forever" I replied "Yeah sorry about that, I've been on lockdown ever since the day after the party" he said "I thought you said she was okay with you going" I replied "She was, but that's not why I'm on lockdown" he said "Okay then, why are you on lockdown?" I asked "She found out I'm g-" he then stopped talking "She found out what?" I asked "She found out I'm gay" he said having trouble pronouncing the last part "Oh, and she locked you up over that?" I asked getting a little mad "Yeah, it's not like it affects her on who I like" he said "I'm gonna be over there in a moment" I said before hanging up, I then went downstairs to my mother "Hey ma, I need your help" I said "Sure, what's up?" she asked "Dice's mom has him on lockdown" I said "I'm sorry honey, whatever he did he has to take responsibility" she replied "No, he's on lockdown because his mother found out he's gay" I explained, she looked at me shocked "Are you sure that's why?" She asked "Yeah, that's what Dice said" I replied "Help me make some cookies then we're heading over there" she said, so I put on an apron, then began gathering ingredients. After the cookies finished cooking we went over to Dice's house "Follow my lead" she said then rung the doorbell, shortly after one of Dice's siblings came to the door. "Hey are your parents here?" My mom asked "Yeah I think so" they said "Mom someone's at the door for you" they yelled "Let them in" she replied, we walked in, put the cookies on the coffee table, then took a seat on the couch. Shortly after Dice's mom came into the room "Welcome!" She said with a smile that faded when she laid her eyes on me "Thanks for having us" my mom said "You have a lovely house" I said "Thanks" She said with a bit of disgust "You have such adorable children" my mother complimented, Dice's mom looked at me with disgust "Is Dice home?" I asked, she looked at me with more disgust than before "Yeah where is he?" my mother asked "Do you not know, or just don't care?" Asked Dice's mother, my mom chuckled, you know the kinda chuckle mothers make when they're really mad "Excuse me?" My mom asked "Your son is a fairy" said Dice's mother "I'm aware he's gay" my mother said "So you don't care that he's doing it with other pansies" Dice's mom said getting offended for some reason, my mom looked like she was about to strangle her, but she then took a breath "I wasn't aware that people were still uneducated about homosexuality" my mother said trying to stay calm "What is there to be educated about? They're just confused and only think they're gay because they think it feels good" Dice's mom responded, my mom being the mature one stood up "I think we're done here, I wish you a good evening" said my mother, I then got up as well and followed her back to my house. "Well that was a disaster, sorry you had to see that" she said apologetically "It's fine" I replied "No it's not, people should mind their own business" my mother said angrily, I pulled out a sheet of uncooked cookies "Well at least we have something to help us process what just happened" I said, we then stuck the sheet into the oven, sat down, and waited for the timer to go off
