ChApter 3 -A mix-up

Kalani POV
Ringggggg
The bell sounded off at the end of 4th period. It was now time for lunch and I was glad because I was hungry asf. The $5 Aunt Jenna gave us went on one small ass sausage biscuit from the corner store and some juice.
As I walked out I saw this tall dark skin boy leaving the class next door . He was so cute and As I embarrassingly drooled over him , he smiled and began to walk my way.
"So we meet again beautiful " he said as he walked up.
Meet again? Huh

"Umm do I know you" I said confused asf.

"Oh so you don't know me now , this is how you repay a guy that risk being late for class this morning to make sure you found yours okay" he said still smiling
Ohhhhhh he must be talking about Laila damn I sometimes forget we're identical.

"Ohhhh no , you must be talking about my sister Laila , I'm Kalani her twin sister" I said.

"Oh I'm sorry , She didn't mention she had a twin , I'm king " he said as he extended his arm for a hand shake.

"Nice to meet you King," I said kind of disappointed and shocked that we even talked to the same guy.

"So Ms. Kalani do you have any idea where your sister is " he asked

"Nope, but she should be heading to the cafe since it's lunch time " I said with a smile.

"Damn okay I guess I'll head there , and again it was nice meeting you Mrs. Kalani" he said as he reached for my palm and kissed it .

Laila's POV
I walk into the cafe and scan the senary looking for King . It was so crowded I could barely look without being pushed aside by people walking by. As I was about to give up and just call my sister someone came and grabbed me behind the waist and whispered
"Looking for me Beautiful". I turned around and it was King with the cutest smile on his face.

"Yes and Shit you lucky you came when you did because I was about to give up" I said as I playfully punched his arm.

"Damn, Laila you ready to give up on me that quick" He said with a chuckle.

"Let's just go find something to eat" I said while blushing hard as fuck.

We got a couple of burgers and sodas and found a vacant table off in the corner.
"So tell me more about yourself Miss Laila" He said as he dived into his burger.
I told him everything starting with me having a identical twin. Which he said he knew already because he mistakenly thought it was me. I told him about my parents, which I regretfully lied about and told him we moved here because my parents were in the army and got shipped overseas. I know it's wrong to lie but I didn't want him to feel as if I was a charity case. As I told him he looked so interested but the whole time I couldn't help but to think about if he was a player.

"So enough about me what about you King, I know About your background but how has your Love life been" I said very curious

"Damn , Laila you in love with a nigga already" He said with a tease

" Nooo, I just was curious because your obviously fine asf there's no way you should be single" I said

" Well thank you , your beautiful as well Lai" he said while blushing

"Lai"  I asked with a confused look on my face

"Yeah , that's your new nickname shawty, well if that's cool with you" He said with a grin

"Yes . It's cool King" I said with a reassuring smile.

Rinnggggggggggggg
Damn lunch flew by quick asf.

"Well it was nice eating lunch with you King , but I have to get to my next class okay, See you later" I said as I gathered my things about to walk off .

"Wait a minute Lai, Can I have your number I would love to talk or text you later" he said with a smile .

Damnnn I have a minute phone and can't really be on the phone like that , but how could I tell him that ?

"okay give me your phone " I said

He gave it to me and I logged my number in and gave it back to him. He immediately called me so I could have his number

"Thanks I will text you later beautiful " he said

"Okay ," I said with a smile
