"So your mom been alive this whole time?!" This is so crazy . I said as I was in shock as Kam told me the story.
"Yes baby, I didn't even believe the story she told me until I watched the news. Everything she told me that happened, actually happened" Kam said sounding confused.
"How do you feel" I said tryna make sure he was okay.
"I honestly don't know how to feel Lani, All these years I thought my mom was dead. If I had known she was alive I would have done everyth-
"Kam, dont start blaming yourself. This is noone fault but that sick ass guy that kidnapped her and held her captive for all these years. He is the one that took your mom away from you and Kayla. I won't let you blame yourself bae. I said cutting him off.
"I know bae your right, it just so crazy. How are we going to explain this to Kayla? He said sounded more stressed out
"What you and Kayla need is love. Yall havent had it in so long , and your mom coming back may just be the thing you both need. I said very reassuring.
"Maybe your right, just promise me something Khalani, Kam said
"Shoot" I said
"You will never leave me , just because my personal life is alot to handle" he said
"Boy please, this ain't nothing compared to what I'm use to. It's going to take alot more to get rid of me. I can promise you that I will always be here when you need me " I said
