Taurus's POV

Scorpio and I sat in the front as Pisces sat in the back, reading Buzzfeed quizzes to us.

"Scorpio, what kind of cheese do you prefer?"

"I dunno, like cheddar?"

"That's not an option."

"Then Brie, I suppose."

"Alright."

"What do this have to do with anything?"

"It's supposed to show what month you were born in."

"You really believe in that horoscope shit? The month you were born in has nothing to do with your personality."

"I don't know, Scorp," I interjected. "I'm such an April."

"What does that even mean?"

"Stubborn_"

"Got that right."

"Hey!" I smacked his shoulder playfully. "You're all dark and mysterious just like an October."

"I've met plenty of dark and mysterious people who were born in months other than October."

"Plus Pisces is a total March: ditsy, blubbly, and probably a drug addict."

"Anyone who takes Buzzfeed quizzes seriously is probably a drug addict."

"I don't do drugs."

"Did your mom when she was pregnant with you?"

"Scorpio!"

He really had no filter, did he?

"She really did?" He whispered. I nodded yes in response.

"Sorry about that." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

Scorpio spent most of the night trying to make the pregnant druggie comment less impactful.

He threw the bowling match, letting Pisces win. She won even though she only scored 54. He bought her the most overpriced ice cream cone from some dessert shack a block away from the bowling alley. The last part was the kicker: he bought a large plushie unicorn which was white with a rainbow mane.

Let's just say, Pisces had the night of her life. We even let her stick her head through the sun roof so she could be in awe of the city lights.

Once we reached the house, she was tuckered out. Scorpio carried her to bed, taking off her shoes, and tucking her in. I gave her a peck on the forehead before we left her room.

"I didn't know and I still feel like shit because of it."

"Don't worry about it, okay?"

"I can't help it."

"Honestly it's fine. Just remember that Pisces's mom is a touchy subject for her. Her mom's not exactly the best. Pisces was a latchkey kid for most of her life."

"Does she know her dad?"

"No clue who it could be."

"Damn, I feel horrible."

"Don't, you're going to over-stress yourself." I ran a hand through his thick black hair, attempting to calm him down. He began to take deep breaths like we practiced.

"I think I'm good now."

"Alright." I went to kiss him on the cheek until we were interrupted.
