Taurus and I decided to waste part of the day away by soaking in the jacuzzi.

"Thanks for last night. It was really fun."

"No problem, Pi."

Something caught my eye. There was a reddish purple mark that wrapped around Taurus's arm.

Should I ask about it?

Or is that too much of a personal question?

I'm not sure.

"Did you hit your arm recently?"

"Huh? Oh_ this." She gestured to the large bruise. "I was using one of those blood pressure cuffs and it got too tight."

"Is there one in the house?"

"No, Scorpio and I went into CVS last night. You were in the car asleep."

"Why'd you need to go to CVS?"

"To pick up Scorpio's meds."

"I thought CVS closes at ten."

"Don't think too hard about it, Pisces."

"Alright." I sink my head into the water and start to blow bubbles like the jets.

Taurus checked her phone. After doing that she quickly got out of the jacuzzi. "I'll be right back, k?" Wrapping the striped towel around her waist, then speeding off inside.

"Where's she rushing off to?" Libra asked as she dipped her feet into the bubbling water.

"I'm not sure. Probably went to check on Capricorn."

"Or Scorpio."

"But Capricorn is her boyfriend."

"I'm not sure how much longer that'll last."

"Why do you say that?"

"I've heard and seen some things that have led me to believe so."

"Like what?"

"I'm not going to ruin your sweet, innocent ears, Doll."

"Why does everyone call me 'sweet' and 'innocent?' How can I stop being those?"

"Hang around Scorpio a little more. He'll teach you some insightful things about the world."

"Like what?"

"Just go ask him."

I hop out from the water and waddle around the house, searching for Scorpio.

"Yes, Pisces?"

"I don't want to be sweet and innocent anymore."

"Why not? It's better to be oblivious. As a wise man once said 'ignorance is bliss.'"

The sound of shattering glass rips throughout the house. A female screaming profanities follows shortly after.

"What the hell was that?" Gemini asked.

"Taurie," Scorpio sharply answered before racing upstairs.
