Determined or Heartless? [Reaper Reader X Frisk... Chara... Or Both?]

Chapter 1: The Tales Were True!

This has been the journey so far...

The tales were true, at least the part of it is. Our Soul Consumer now plans to learn from this monster "Toriel" and explore the underground to see if all he as heard are true.

Toriel: I am Toriel, care taker of the Ruins. I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down.

(y/n): Well then Toriel, Caretaker of the Ruins...

You placed your right hand on your left shoulder and kindly bow as you introduce yourself.

(y/n): I am (y/n), Grim Reaper and Soul Consumer of infinite realms.

Toriel: Oh my, such a title. You must made a name for yourself to earn that.

(y/n): You could say that.

Toriel: Well you are the second human to come down here, *Gasp* are you in a search for someone?

You shook your head as you said the most unbelievable thing to Toriel.

(y/n): I came to this realm on my own for some peaceful time away from... Something, heard tales about an underground city, filled with monsters. So I decided to see it in my own eyes.

Toriel was taken back by this as she asked.

Toriel: Realm? What do you mean by that?

(y/n): Guess you don't believe in "Dimension Traveling?" "Realm Crossing?"
"World Passing?"

Toriel seems to giggle at this as she spoke with a smile.

Toriel: Well, judging by your attire, I am quite curious about all you mentioned.

(y/n): I see, I believe what your about to hear is true of course.

Toriel: Well its like they say about the impossible.

Toriel&(y/n): Nothing is impossible.

You and Toriel then giggled together as you  and Toriel smiled.

Toriel: Your a strange one, I guess you and i will be getting along well, and I'm sure you and the other human will get along too.

Toriel then had a stern look as she looks around, not feeling safe as she looks at you and smiles.

Toriel: Come, I'll guide you through the catacombs.

(y/n): I was just about to ask you to guide me through, after all that talking flower could still be around.

Toriel: I was thinking the same. This way.

And with that said, Toriel started walking away as you grabbed your duffle bag off the ground as you put it over your shoulder and followed Toriel as you started removing those "Friendliness Pellets" off your body while the wound heals.

(y/n): So... A human has fallen down here before me huh?

Toriel: Yes, she is the first to come down here in a very long time, I honestly thought you were here in search for the human.

(y/n): No, and uh just a small thing you should know.

Toriel: And what is that?

(y/n): I'm not human.

[Timeskip with (y/n) sitting on an edge of a water fall as Toriel tells him to not get too close to the edge which he smiles and replied with a simple ok.]

Toriel: The Ruins are filled with puzzles that must be solved if you wish to progress.

(y/n): I see, and it looks like all those switches are already been triggered.

Toriel: So they are, I was going to reset all of them when I came back here but I needed to make sure if anyone else has fallen down here, which I found you.

You nodded as you and Toriel are walking across a small bridge in a large room with three switches with labels showing which one to switch as one of them was a false. You were surprised how clean the place is as you and Toriel made it in the next room as you see some sort of practice dummy.

Toriel: Now, as Human living in the underground, monster may attack. You need to be prepared for this situation.

(y/n): Right... And what with this dummy?

Toriel: Well it will be simple, strike up a friendly conversation with the dummy and I'll come to resolve the conflict.

You raised an eyebrow as you stood next to the dummy, confused when she said "Strike up a friendly conversation." That's when you "understood" what she meant.

(y/n): Oooohhhh I gotcha...

You then looked at the dummy as you smirked.

(y/n): I'm be sure to strike up a good conversation.

Toriel: Go right ahead, no need to be shy.

You chuckled at this as you crack your neck as you opened your mouth as a glowing blue light appeared in your mouth... And then you fired a powerful beam at the dummy, completely vaporizing it and leaving nothing of it as you stopped and looked at Toriel.

(y/n): Hows that huh?... Uh...

You then see Toriel's shocked expression as then scratches the back of her head and grew a nervous smile.

Toriel: Well... Heheh you certainly aren't human and that's not what I meant by "Strike up a friendly conversation." Hehehe.

You expression then turns to shocked and embarrassed by this as you apologized and bow.

(y/n): O-oh! M-my deepest apologize Ma'am.

Toriel laughs at this as she simply comforts you with a pat on the shoulder.

Toriel: No need to apologize, after all you are new down here. Come now, we still have to get going.

Toriel walks away once again as you sighed in relief as you then followed her, then everything fades to black as the title "Undertale" appeared as the title is covered in blood as a faint laughter was heard.
