Chapter 68: The Emptiness Within The Hotel.

This has been the journey so far...

The Killers venture even deeper down the underground, a hotel is seen but not a soul was found... Leaving the two Killers alone with warms beds and rooms to themselves.

Chara: Oh wow, even the Hotel's empty.

(y/n): Really? That's what comes to mind? I'm more curious about that damn fountain. It's not even working properly.

You said, looking at Chara after the two of you walked four hours in the Hotlands... But soon, you now stand inside a large hotel and the first thing that came to your view... Was a water fountain with water just pouring outside the fountain like it shouldn't... Chara turns to you and gently pats your cheek.

Chara: Don't worry about that stupid fountain, we have the hotel all to ourselves.

(y/n): *Sigh* Fine... I'll try to ignore it.

Chara smiles so softly before skipping her way towards the front counter, peaking over to see not a single soul... She reaches over the counter in search for something as you walked up to the water fountain, starring at it intensely before reaching for your sword and sliced the statue apart.

(y/n): IT CANNOT BE IGNORED!!!

After slicing the statue, the water now no longer pours outside the fountain and instead into the fountain like it should before you took deep breaths and felt a presence next to you, turning your head to see Chara standing there looking at you.

Chara: Feel better now, Babe?

You nodded before seeing Chara swinging a key on her finger as you looked at the key then back to Chara.

(y/n): What's with the key?

Chara: Well we're going to stay in a cozy room, silly. Better than to sleep on a cardboard back at the lab.

Chara began to walk towards a long hall that has many doors seen, you blinked your eyes before putting your sword on your back and followed Chara behind.

(y/n): What's so special about living here, anyways?

Chara: The beds are warm and soft, and their bathrooms are the sh*t! That's why we're going to stay here till we are ready to kill some monster f*ckers.

(y/n): Right... Well... I hope what your saying is true... I could use a nice warm bed right about now.

[Timeskip with Chara leaning on (y/n)'s shoulder on the side while (y/n) gives Chara a soft smile as the two stared at one another.]

(y/n): Hmm...

Minutes has past and you and Chara have found the perfect room to spend the night in, the bed was as soft as Chara described it while silence was in the air... You were sitting on the bed, enjoying the peace as Chara was in the bathroom.

(y/n): Who was she... She looked... Familiar... Those golden eyes... Hmm...

You sat there as another minute has past before the door to the bathroom opens with Chara walking out of the bathroom and adjusted her sweater.

Chara: Glad the place is still clean. I was expecting it to look like a party just ended. Hmm?

Chara stopped in front of you, noticed that you were starring at the ground for some time before asking.

Chara: (y/n)?

(y/n): Hmm?

You raised your head up to Chara as she sees bags under your eyes, she then smiles softly before placing her hands under your cheeks and asked.

Chara: Are you feeling sleepy?

(y/n): Tch... What am I? A child?

Chara just giggles before sitting on your lap as her face was inches closer to yours as her hands are on your chest.

Chara: I truly love you... And your forever mine alone~

(y/n): Easy now, Chara... I'm no one's possession.

Chara smirks before leaning in...

Chara: We'll see~

And planted a kiss on your lips as you simply sunk into the said kiss... Chara began to push you down onto the bed before everything fades to black...

And the title "Undertale" appeared as the title was untouched and silence fills the air.
