Pat woke up in a bed, in a mysterious room that almost looked like a kitchen. "Looks like you're awake." A sweet female's voice said. "Where am I?" Pat asked as he turned to see a pink hooded woman, with a white dress, from behind (A/N: It's the picture up top and I drew it). "Don't worry, you're safe here. Nothing here will hurt you." The woman reassured him. "W-who are you?" Pat questioned her. "An old friend. You always managed yourself to get into trouble every once in a while." The woman answered. "Am I...?" Pat wheezed not wanting to finish that sentence. "Well, yes... And no." She answered, but Pat stayed silent.

"That girl really hurt you, in more ways than one." The woman reminded, making Pat remember. "I'm guessing death was the easy part. Her words pierced your heart, didn't they?" She asked him. "That all happened, didn't it? I fell..." Pat cried and she nodded. "She had a knife, that forced me to the ledge..." Pat explained getting up. "I should've turned her!" He then yelled slamming his hand on one of the crates. "I should've done what he said." Pat cried again.

"You doubt yourself." The woman told him. "Of course I do. I failed... I would've done anything for her and I froze!" Pat told her. "You couldn't stand anyone finding out what you really are, and when the person you loved the most found out..." She recounts. "Everything she said... It was true... All my life I had few friends, it had to be... I was a danger to everyone, a monster!" Pat recounts his life. "You will never be able to open yourself up if you're scared of what you are." The woman phrased as Pat stayed silent again.

"Patrick... You need to accept who you are." The woman instructed. "I was raised to have few friends." Pat reminded her. "It's a shame, you aren't the man I remember." She tells him. "Huh?" Pat asked in confusion. "The Patrick I remember wouldn't allow a minor setback like this one to determine. Even when everything was lost, he pressed on." The woman tells him but it enraged him. "A minor setback?! The woman I love is in danger and you're calling it a minor setback?!" Pat snapped. "Exactly. She's in danger, being near death almost made you forget; there are people who are in danger, Patrick. People you care deeply about. Are you just going to give up and forget them?" The woman explained with a question.

"I..." Pat said, stunned. "Maybe you should, after all... The woman you loved caused this." The woman answered. "No! She would never do this, It was never her fault! I love her!" Pat defended surprising the hooded woman. "I will never give up on her! I will do anything to keep her safe." Pat continued. "You always have." The woman replied turning around to show him brunette hair with a soft face but Pat couldn't see her eyes. "Do you want to go back?" She asked him.

"Well, of course I do! Jennifer, Ian, Cloud, Dan, Jemma... I may not have told them everything about me but they care about me, they are my family. I will not let him have them!" Pat answered with determination. "There's the man I knew..." The woman smiled. "Alright then, I'll help you." She agreed. "Huh?" Pat asked her, confused. "If you are truly determined; I can help you escape death. But there, the rest is up to you." She tells him. "Am I dead?" Pat asked her. "Are you truly determined to save her? To save all of your family?" The woman questioned ignoring his question. "Yes! I will never give up!" Pat answered determined to get everyone back.

"Then this is my debt repaid. Go, fight for them." The woman accepted, letting Pat go. Pat went up to the door but forgot something to tell her. "You never told me who you were." Pat reminded her. "Just... An angel. Now go! Before I change my mind!" She answered, vaguely. Pat nodded before going through the door...

Pat woke up in his own blood and was unable to move. "I can't move..." He groaned to himself to look down to see a knife in his chest. Without hesitation, Pat used both of his hands to pull the knife out even though it was painful, he tried to get up but it was still no use. "I need to get up... It hurts! I... Can't die here." He wheezed. Before a flashback went into his mind.
