Jace quietly mumbles to himself, i dont think he wanted me to hear but i did because im awesome.

"Im sorry? Thank god for what?" I ask with a smirk.

"What? No umm its cool that your gay, my cousin is gay too so no worries." Jace says awkwardly.

He seems to realize something so he quickly adds "but if you tell anyone that, ill punch you in the throat."

Wow jace was that really necessary? He definitely isnt the big mean person everyone thinks he is which makes me both happy and confused to why he acts that way.

Ash puts his hands up in surrender. "Okay okay, i won't say anything but one question.... Is your cousin hot? If so is he single?"

I laugh and shake my head in amusement.
Jace looks extremely uncomfortable as he says "umm he umm, idk hes single and our age but you can judge for yourself on his looks." He then pulls out his phone and shows Ash a picture.

Ash seems to be impressed, "i wanna see! I wanna see!" I whine.

Jace smiles and shows me the picture.

Mmm mmm mm this guy is first of all shirtless, so theres an ab show goin on in this picture, he is hott.

I smirk at Ash "i think we have found your future boy toy."

"Woh woh woh using him as a toy is not what i had in mind, more of a sex slave." Ash winks at jace.

Jace shudders in disgust.

"Dont worry im not like that, i will cherish him and love him forever." Ash then takes Jaces phone and clicks a few buttons before putting it up to his ear.

Me and jace look at each other confused.

"Yes hello is this..." He pauses looking at jace quickly "psst whats your cousins name!?" He whisper shouts.

"Finnick." Jace says still looking confused.

"Sorry yes is this finnick?" He continues then walks away out of our ear shot.

Wait a minute... Finnick as in one of the bad boys in his group?!

"Is this the same finnick that goes to our school!?" I ask.

He smirks and replies by laughing.

My eyes widen who would have guessed?

"Wow, you learn something new everyday hmm?"

He chuckles and says "ya, but dont tell anyone because i don't think he wants the school to know."

"Yea thats understandable, his bad boy reputation needs to stay intact."

"Yea." Jace states before coming a bit closer to me. "You know... Im starting to lose interest in the whole bad boy thing."

I smile "oh really? Why is that?"

"Its getting old, besides i dont want to have to be somebody I'm not, i just want to be.... me." He says before looking up into my eyes.

"I think that sounds like a good idea, it also sounds a bit sappy." I tease.

"Sue me for being real for once." He says his smile fading.

I like this jace, the jace that doesn't want to be mean to someone just for looking at him, the jace that cares about peoples feelings.

"Well i for one like this jace, the other one scares me a tad bit." I confess with a small smile.

"Mushy stuff isnt really my thing but i can try, i can try to change how i act in front of people." He says honestly.
