Chapter 26: love me or hate me

Eventually i reach another turn off, this time theirs only 2 choices.

I see no rose in either one so i look around me.

Its gotten darker which scares the freckles off of me.

What if something went wrong and he got kid napped and now im next!?

My eyes widen. Oh no.

Im too young to die!

I panic and look around me at a high voltage rate.

My neck is almost in spasms as i look around so quickly.

I suddenly spot a record of Sleeping with Sirens newest album.

Ive been looking for it for over a month!

I run to it and pick it up then notice another note attached to it.

Beatie my lovely lover of life, follow the bread crumbs.... If you dare!

I laugh a little before grabbing my phone and shining the flashlight a head of me.

Just in case. Its a safety precaution.

I may be able to see a little but id like to be able to see a lot.

I slowly move forward, off any trail might i add. Now im just following stupid bread crumbs like in hansel and fricken gretel!

Breath beatrice. You trust Jace to never put you in danger, yes? Yes.

Soon enough im lead out into an open area as if on top of a cliff, looking out onto the city.

Its breath taking.

I attempt to step closer to the edge but hear something crumple under my feet.

I step back and pick up yet another note.

Look behind you.

Well this one is slightly more creepier then the others.

I slowly turn around to see Jace in a tux holding a single rose.

He doesn't say anything, just points up.

I look at him confused before looking onto the trees above his head.

My eyes widen and i (regretfully) scream like an annoying high pitched girl. Which is what i am so i guess i should get used to it.

Spelled out with christmas lights in the trees is:

It looks beautiful and amaztastic!

I drop the roses and my bag with the record to run up to Jace and jump into his arms.

He lifts me up and twirls me before setting me back down.

"Really?!" I ask just to make sure.

He smirks "yes."

"But i thought it was only for, and i quote, 'preps and populars. Along with the nobody's and inbetweeners.' Hmm?"

He kisses the top of my head "i was wrong. The whole bad ass thing was all up in my head and i was foolish to let that get in the way of your happiness."

I smile and kiss him with all my heart.

"Now that thats done." I say calmly. "WHAT THE SMUT WERE YOU THINKING!? I could have been killed going back to that Alley way and going through that forest!" I yell as i hit his chest.
