There was a a spring in my step, happily I limped to the Alpha's office.

I knew he would be there, I could smell him too.

I knocked onto the wood of the door and listened for my welcome, it came soon. I opened the door his scent over powered me, I knew we couldn't do what we did on the field. This was a formal meeting and both men had to look as powerful as the other.

"Alphas." I bowed at the both of them.

"Katinka, take a seat." I thanked my Alpha and sat beside my mate. "Alpha Nort Disma tells me you volunteered your Spoils as tribute."

"That is true my Alpha," I snuck a side glance at my mate.

Alpha Nort Disma...

"What made you think it was alright to do so without any consultation." his tone had turned icy. I could feel myself shrinking into my seat.

"It is my right to do as I please with my prize," I looked up to show that I stood firm on this belief. I could only hope that I succeeded.

"I wasn't your proxy," I hardened my face to cover up my instincts want to cower and give the man what he wanted. "Regardless, it belongs to the Alpha now. Tell him you want it back."

I decided to finally look at him directly, he was already looking at me. I dropped my gaze and found interest in the carving of the desk.

Why am I so weak?

"I didn't come to talk about a gift that was given to me by one of your Kappa's."

The voice of power.

"I found my mate within your pack and I am requesting to take her back to my lands."

I could feel myself melting at his words, he didn't want to waste time on what the moon has gifted us. I knew a smile had dumbly captured my face as a new found happiness flowed through me.

"I will contact the female's family and see if they are comfortable with this." I wanted to but in an say that they would not mind at all. After all, could the dead complain?

Breathed deeply so to hold myself back, yet all that did was make him fill my strongest sense.

My senses flashed and i gasped, when the silver burnt my tongue.

"I am willing to take the female's tribute over the price we agreed upon." I wonder what that price was.

My Alpha seemed to think for sometime, his eyes never straying from my mate. "Deal, shall we seal it in blood?"

My back straightened, I was bearing witness to deal of settlement.

I did once when I was younger, when I didn't explain much but her I was being considered a witness to this deal. "Katinka," my Alpha looked at me expectantly.

I stood and walked behind him, grabbing the ceremonial apparatuses. I set them on the table and arranged them the ancient way, I learnt plenty when we came back from the last war. I had enough knowledge to rival the elders, I spoke to the moon as I did this. I could see her through the window as I Spoke to her.

I extended my claws into my form and dipped them into a bowl of liquid silver. "Shall we begin?" I asked the two men.

Both stood unto their feet, and took off their shirts and turned their backs to me. I turned to my Alpha, and slowly carved the terms of agreement into his skin. Settling the completion of their transaction.

I slowed to a stop when I saw my mates back, he had many receipts engraved upon his skin and almost all laid on his left side. I slowly added another, unease hugged me tight that my mate was a warrior wolf through and through. He was made for war and saught it, I let silver touch skin as I did my work as a witness.
