Me and Sam met up with Steve, who was carrying Bucky, in a huge empty building. Both their clothes were soaking wet and Sam let go of my hand to help Steve.
I was holding a tissue that Sam had and kept it on my still bleeding nose.
"What happened Clover?" Steve asks me once he noticed the tissue .
"Bucky's arm hit me." I reply.
"Are you ok?" He grunted while they were placing Bucky down and out his arm in between a weird machine.
I shrug, "It hurts but I'm fine."
I walk up to Bucky who is still unconscious. "What happened? Why is your clothes wet?"
"Me and Bucky went for a swim." Steve answered.
"I don't think it's a good idea to stand so close to him right now." Sam told me.
"Yeah let's stay back. Give him some space." I felt Steve out his arm on my back and led me out of the room.
Sam stayed near the doorway while Steve led me to a window on the side of the building. I could hear the engines of the flying vehicles they have on Earth. Steve ducked whenever one came close so we wouldn't be seen.
"Why are we hiding?" I asked Steve as we were currently hiding behind the wall when a flying vehicle came close.
Steve smiled slightly to himself, looking down at the ground, "Well we practically just kidnapped the most wanted assassin in the world. So that makes us all criminals."
I moved myself so I was sitting criss crossed on the ground. "Ok, so what are we going to do when we get out of this building?"
"I don't know yet." He said with uncertainty.
"Hey Cap!" We heard Sam call.
Steve stood up, the vehicles outside already moved on to a different area. I brushed off the dirt from my clothes as Steve was already jogging to Sam. I made my way over to them, as fast as my shirt legs could carry me while be careful not to trip on anything, which wasn't really that fast.
" Which Bucky am I talking to? " I heard as I got closer to the room
I slowed down at the doorway and peeked around the corner, just in case Bucky wasn't Bucky still.
Bucky swallowed, looking like he was remembering something, "Your mom's name was Sarah........You used to wear newspapers in your shoes."
Steve smiled, "Can't read that in a museum."
"Just like that we're suppose to be cool?" Sam asked Steve.
I rubbed my nose with the back of my hand. I had dried blood inside and I had the urge to sneeze.
Bucky deeply sighed, "What did I do?"
"Enough."
Bucky's voice wavered, "God, I knew this would happen. Everything Hydra put inside me is still there. All He had to do was say the goddamn words."
"Who was he?"
"I don't know." Bucky whispered
"People are dead. The bombing, the set up. The doctor did all that just to get 10 minutes with you. I need you to do better than 'I don't know'." Steve insisted.
I looked around for a bright light and was finally able to sneeze when I found it. But I think I sneezed a little to hard because I could feel the blood pouring down my nose again.
"Steve? My nose is bleeding again." I whined stepping in the room.
Steve, Sam, and Bucky all turned their heads towards me. Steve looked back at Sam expectantly.
