Endgame (pt.1)

Everything was dark. Very quiet. I couldn't feel anything.

But it only stayed that way for a few seconds. I felt the dirt and grass underneath me again. I blink my eyes open, the sun was shining right over me. I sit up and look around me. I don't remember this much bushes around here. Did the trees get bigger?

Some people weren't here. Steve wasn't here. Natasha wasn't here. But the lady in the red was. So was Sam and T'Challa in the distance.

I push myself to stand up and I look out towards the fields. Soldiers were appearing out of thin air. Everyone was gathering out in the fields

I hear footsteps running this way. I turn my head and saw some men and women soldiers running into the trees to T'Challa.

I look behind me and saw Bucky standing up. "What happened?" I ask him.

He looks down at me and then around at the trees, also confused. He also kinda looks a bit scared. His eyes looked worried or something lile that.

My arm was turning to dust a few minutes ago. Everything went black but I woke up and now people are missing. They weren't anywhere around here. They couldn't run off that far that I can't find them. Can they?

I ran out to the field and slowed down as I got closer to Sam. I walked beside him, "Sam where did Steve go? What happen?" I ask.

A man started appearing in front of us on the grass. I stared at him as his whole body started forming out of stuff that looks like dust.

"I have no idea kid." Sam replies, also staring at the man.

T'Challa was on the field up ahead. Okoye and Shuri just arrived and stood next to T'Challa. I was going to ask them the same thing when a yellow fire looking portal was forming in front of them. I tensed up, even though it didnt look like the same portal it could be Thanos.

I could see from here there was a human standing on the other aide of the portal. I ran a bit closer to hear what he was saying.

(I actually don't know how Doctor Strange would explain the situation, I never watched his movie, so yeah)

"-been five years. Thanos is back and outnumbering your companions. I will open a portal to bring you and your armies through into the battlefield."

The portal then closed and T'Challa started calling for his soldiers to rally.

What did the man mean by 'been five years". It was dark for me for only a few seconds. Did he mean I was asleep for five years or has it been five years since something else happened? What year is it right now?

I'm even more confused.

All the soldiers and warriors rallied up. Sam was trying to talk to Steve through the comm things they had. Bucky stood next to me. Everyone was waiting for T'Challa 's signal or something to happen.

"The fights not over?" I ask out loud.

Bucky sighed heavily and loaded his gun. "Guess not. "

The same type of portal thing opened again , T'Challa, Shuri, and Okoye walked through it first. Sam got in the air and flew through the portal. Everyone started walking through the portal and it started to get bigger.

As I walked through the portal next to Bucky and other people, I saw Steve staring at us. His suit was all dirty and also different. His shield was broken, when did he even get his old shield back? And his beard was gone. How long has it been?

I noticed a bunch of other strangers were walking through a bunch of other portals around us. I even saw some slightly familiar looking ships hovering above us. It was hard to hear over the ships engines but I heard things growling and roaring in the distance.

That's when I noticed the big army on the ground slowly walking towards us. How did I not notice them and the big ship in the sky? And there is so many of them, are we gonna be able to win against them?

I felt a nudge in my arm, I look up at Bucky since he was the only person I was standing next to. "Get ready." He whispers while staring at all the creatures a little ways away.

I nod and close my eyes, concentrating on building up my powers. It felt slightly stronger this time, like I was able to summon them a bit easier than before. Kinda weird but okay.

Everyone was getting into battle stance. I heard Steve yell,

"AVENGERS! "

Then a hammer flew into his hand out of nowhere. Where did he get that from?

"Assemble."

It's not the best chapter but its something. I don't know when the next part, the actual, battle, will be written but hopefully ill get the inspiration soon.
