Two days passed and the world was a non stop buzz about how very soon the Winter lands would be one. The castle was always in motion preparing the details for the wedding. I haven't spoken to my mother since the meeting, I haven't even seen her. When I heard she would be in one room, I would go to another.
I was in a room on the bottom floor of the castle waiting to try on my wedding dress. I sat on a plush pink cushion as the ladies talked amongst themselves on which veil would match my dress the best. I should of been glowing at the thought of trying on my wedding dress, but I was angry.
"Okay, Princess Solstice. Come here and close your eyes!" I stepped up on the pedestal in the middle of the room. I felt my robe vanish and replaced with a new material. Someone picked up my feet one at a time and placed heels on them. More hands picked at my hair as they worked in the veil. "Open eyes!"
I hesitated for a moment. With a heavy sigh, I opened my eyes. My dress was a pure, white ballgown even bigger than my birthday party dress. The sweetheart neckline was met with a thin strap of the material hanging over my arms so my shoulders were bare. Large diamonds wrapped around my waist. My hair was curled carefully into a twist on the lower part of my head. I turned, watching the veil violently reflect the light. It was covered in so many small crystals it looked like snow falling. It would of been so beautiful, I would of looked so beautiful if I was marrying the man of my dreams and still loved the snow.
"Solstice," I looked in the mirror at the reflection of my father who was on the verge of tears. "You look so amazingly beautiful." I waved my hand at the ladies in an order for them to leave. Once they left the room, I turned to my father.
"How can you let this happen?" A diamond bracelet on my hand shaking as I swung my hands at myself.
"Your mother thinks it is best," he said. I noticed the wave in his voice. He didn't agree with this, I know he didn't.
"Dad. Tell her no, this isn't right." I whispered, yanking the bracelet off my wrist. We watched as it broke, the diamonds hitting the floor and bouncing in different directions.
"I try, but it just never comes out of my mouth. It's like someones controlling me. I'm sorry, sweetie. Maybe this will be good for you." My jaw tightened.
My own mother had magic. She never let me talk about it while she possessed it. The anger rose in me as I realized she did what Frosts was doing at the meeting. I hated her.
"Everything's going to turn out okay," I said, removing the veil and setting it down on the floor.
"You think so?" My father stood in front of me now, eye level with me since I was on the pedestal.
I pulled him into a hug. He hugged me back, tightly, as his familiar cologne wiggled up my nose. "I know so, dad."

Three days before the wedding, I was in the ballroom observing the table placement and decorations. Everything was white, blue, and diamonds. The center pieces were mini trees covered in snow. The sweetheart table had the heart chairs I sat in for my birthday party. The table was clear with blue lights underneath it, large blue flowers in the middle. Everything was stunning. I hated it.
"Princess Solstice-"
"Darling!" I turned around slowly, seeing Bells looking annoyingly at Frosts. He was coming down the grand stairs, a grin on his face. He skipped the last few steps and landed in front of me.
"What?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. Bells frowned as she left the room.
"Now that's no way to talk to your future husband," he teased. I rolled my eyes and took a step back from him. "Besides, I never got to give you your ring."
I wanted to punch him in the face again and tell him to shove the ring elsewhere. Instead, I flung out my left hand. His grinned widened. He picked the ring out of the box and slid it onto my finger. The diamond was insanely huge for a ring.
"The best for the best," he said, going to reach for my hand to give it a kiss. I quickly moved my arms behind my back and laced my fingers together. This got his smile to finally go away.
"Thank you. Is that all?" I asked, noticing the guard entering the room.
A growling noise came from his throat as he wrapped an arm around my waist and brought me roughly to his body. He leaned down to kiss the tip of my ear.
"There's a castle being built in the middle of the lands right now for us. Once we get there you won't be able to stay away from me. You won't be able to reject my touch." I shoved at his chest, half expecting him to keep me locked in. Instead, he moved his arms and let me shove myself onto the ground. He towered above me, his wicked grin saying enough before he left.
I just laid back on the cold ground, looking up at the crystal chandeliers that hung above me. I was to trust Mas, but I haven't seen him since he walked out on me. It was a battle to think if I could trust him or not. For all I know he could be the bad guy. Well, another bad guy. Frosts wore that crown with a smile on his face.

Twenty-four hours until the wedding. The castle was filled with people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. There was constant noise and shouting, asking if this was supposed to go here or where were the flowers at? I sat in my room sweating even though I had my air set to fifty degrees in my room. Bells was repainting my nails sparkles and did her best to keep me distracted.
"How is the queen?" I asked, abruptly. I managed to avoid her all week. She didn't seem to be really searching for me either though. Bells finished my last finger and set them under the lights to dry.
"She is well. Very excited for the wedding. She loved your gown." I nodded. Of course she did, it was beautiful. Bells left soon after my nails were prepped for tomorrow. I was going to get in the shower when I noticed a piece of paper on my vanity she left behind.
Solstice,
Leave your door unlocked for me tonight. Sorry to keep you waiting.
Mas
I ripped the paper into five pieces before throwing it in the trash bin. I went into my bathroom feeling much more relaxed and a smile on my face.

Bells stood behind me, brushing out my hair before I went to bed for the night. Tomorrow was the big day. I wanted to laugh when I thought about Frosts finding my room empty when I left him standing at the alter.
"Are you ready?" She asked as she brushed my long, white hair longer than usual. I smiled at her through the mirror.
"I think I'm finally at ease with it," I said. The brush hit the floor before rattling as it shook. Bells apologized as she picked it up and continued brushing.
After a few more minutes, she was done. I stood, wrapping her into a hug. She seemed surprised, but quickly returned the hug.
"Thank you for being so good to me, Bells." I said into her hair that smelled like vanilla. She made a squawking noise before letting me go.
"I hope the snow angels watch over you." With a bow, she left. I sat back down and looked into the mirror. My white hair bright, my blue eyes falsely pretty. I took my fake contacts out, not even needing them to see properly. My golden eyes stared back at me now. I looked down at the large diamond on my finger and almost gagged. In a swift motion, the ring was off my finger and rattling in the trash can.
I crawled into bed, bringing up the blankets to my chin. I laid on my side, waiting for the door to open for Mas to save me. An hour passed, then another before it was midnight. My eyelids became too heavy for me to fight as I drifted to sleep.

I was jolted awake when something brushed against my arm. When I opened my eyes, everything was still black. I felt the string wrapped over my shoulder that kept the fabric over my head. I felt hands behind my back as they tried to sit me up. I swung my arms blindly, my feet kicking at nothing as I shrieked. Adrenaline ran through my body as I sucked in as much air as I could before screaming with my entire body. Someone swore as I was scooped up into someones arms.
I heard noise outside in the hall, orders being yelled and feet scrambling across the floor. I didn't know where we were headed as I was held tightly against someones chest. It wasn't long before I felt the cold air of the night hit my legs.
"She wasn't supposed to wake up," a deep voice rumbled to my right.
"What's your plan, Ray? Sing her a lullaby? We can't lay a hand after her after we get in the car," the man who was holding me said. His voice was rough, like he'd been screaming for the past five hours.
"We could say we banged her head off a door if it bruises."
"You're actually stupid. Jaxon will have your ass if she remembers." I was still helplessly failing my arms around in the cold. Either he was holding me away from his body or was dodging my swings as they happened. My fingers cracked in pain as I finally hit flesh. I shrieked, curling my other hand around my throbbing fingers. The man carrying me swore, dropping me into the freezing snow.
"Do it quick idiot. You were the one who woke her." I was scrambling to get to my feet as something hard hit my cheek. My world turned even darker as I felt the snow hit my face as I fell.
