STUDIO A OFFICE
"Miss Angela. We need to talk!"
Amy came abruptly into the office and was now standing next to Davis and Infront of Miss Angela. The studio got up to mirror both of the girls, "Davis you can leave, and remember what I said. No one is not replaceable" Angela warned, leaving the contemporary dancer to leave the office. She closed the door and turned back to Amy, "now what can I do for you? Have we met before?"
Amy (Acro Dancer) POV -
Angela must remember me. I was at the Acro National Dance academy auditions and she is running both studios. So I know that she is faking not knowing who I am.
"I know your game, I was at the auditions for your other studio acro national due to me missing the next step auditions; you are running both studios and both studios are going to Regionals!" Amy said laying down all of the facts, Angela looked down, for once she was actually cornered. "Yes, I know I run both studios. But I put you on the acro national team. Which means you won't tell anyone will you!?"
"Well that depends. I want to dance on A Troupe and go to Regionals with my friends, not with Acro National" Amy said, she walked closer to Angela. "The rules of competitive teams says that multiple studios can't be run by one studio head and is a disqualification worthy offense. So if I were to tell anyone, both of your teams would get disqualified from Regionals. What would that do to your fixer reputation then?" Amy bargined.
Angela (Studio Head/Fixer) POV -
I hate to say it. But Amy has me, so I have to listen to her demands now.
"What is your point to this?" Angela asked, "I want to be put on A Troupe! I know that you have filled the team and you would have to kick one of my friends of to put me on but I want to be first on the waiting list and allowed to participate in A Troupe rehearsals, ready to take a spot when needed! If we can agree on that, I'll keep your secret for as long as I can"
"Fine. But we can never speak of this"
Amy (Acro Dancer) POV -
I'm happy I'm back in A Troupe sort of, but I don't like how she is running both studios, because if regionals find out then we both get disqualified!
THE NEXT DAY
STUDIO A
The next morning, Amy was present for the A Troupe rehearsals and anglea had a few announcements to make to her team, but would that mean making a trip to Acro National Dance academy to do the same there? "Ahem! I have some news. Amy here is going to be joining A Troupe and an extra alternate_"
Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
It's great having Amy back on the team. Shes been apart of our family for so long, so it's just right to have her here.
"I have also submitted Noahs Name to the Regionals Board as our representative for The Next Step in the qualifier! And in the response they have drawn out the names of all the quartets!" Angela announced, she had a letter in her hands and began to read it out. "We will be working with the Geminis, Art & Soul and Dance.inc!"
Henry (Hiphop Dancers) POV -
The Geminis? Our rival studio you have got to be kidding me right now. I don't know how Noah is going to work with them.
"Noah your first rehearsal with the other studios is taking place this afternoon and will be held in Studio One, and then in the Gemini Studio from then onwards" Angela announced to him, Davis stood in total disgust at the way Angela was acting. "Oh miss Angela, what about the twist from the Regionals board?" Davis called out, getting all of the other dancers riled up.
"No, no twist this year" Anglea scowled, "Davis can I speak with you in my office please? Right NOW" Angela instructed, it was no big question over what she was going to say to her in the office, but Davis was ready.
STUDIO A OFFICE
"Davis. You're a good dancer. But do you not remember what I said yesterday? You are not irreplaceable and anyone can take your spot" She warned, "Yes I am aware of that, but your not acting like you should, you essentially used noah to get us into regionals and made him am alternate just because he did what is right"
Angela (Studio Head/Fixer) POV -
I'm getting tired of this. Its time for me to give Davis an ultimatum.
"Look around you, we now have 13 dancers on A Troupe and only 12 are actually permitted for Regionals. So either way whatever happens? One of you won't be coming with us and it doesn't mean it will be Amy. I hope im making this clear for you" Angela said evilly, Davis knew all to well what this meant for her.
Davis (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I have to drop this, even if I'm not happy about it because Angela is threatening to kick me off A Troupe and that can't happen.
STUDIO ONE
'dont you worry about the rise and fall...'
Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I'm in Studio one and I'm warming up for the rehearsal with the other teams. I do hope that we all get along because we only get into Regionals if all of are at the same level. So if TNS mess up? Then so do the other teams.
Noah continued to dance until the other dancers came in from the other studios. "The Next Step Studio! I see you actually hope to get to Regionals this year?" The dancer from the Gemini team said as he walked in. "The next step is going to win Regionals this year, which is more that can be said for you guys at Internationals
Lat year" Noah replied.
Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
For a time everyone thought that the Gemini team was invincible. But last year they actually LOST in the first round of internationals! So this year they have to qualify for Regionals just like everyone else; I just hope we can work together and get this done.
SHAKES AND LADDERS
Summer (Contemporary Dancer) POV-
I walk into the shakes and ladders when I see Davis looking sad and alone in the corner so I go over to talk with her. I hope it's nothing serious:
"Hey Davis?" Summer called out. "Are you alright you seem down" she added as she sat down. Davis was reluctant to explain at first, she did not want Miss Angela to have any reason to get rid of her from the team. "Nothing" but Summer didn't think to believe her for one moment. "Davis what is going on?" Summer said a little more sternly.
Davis sighed and gave in, "Miss Angela is awful. The Regionals board put a twist in the rules that whoever dances in the qualifier is an alternate at Regionals. She made noah the alternate, as punishment for him leading us the other day" Davis explained. "And she did not tell anyone at The Next Step apart from Lilly, we have to tell them!"

Lilly (Acro Dancer) POV -
I over hear the girls talking about the alternate twist. I have to get to the team before they do!
THE NEXT STEP STUDIO A
Lilly (Acro Dancer) POV -
I have to protect my mother. So I'm going to talk to A Troupe to make it look as if we did not know about the qualifier twsit, I hope it works.
"Guys!" Lilly called out as she came from the office. "The Regionals board just sent another letter about the qualifier and I'm sorry noah but it is not good news for you." She said, at this point Angela came into the Studio and knew exactly what Lilly was doing and did not disturb her. "It appears this year, whoever dances in the qualifier does not dance at Regionals! And that means that you are an alternate!"
Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I'm the alternate for the team? I can't believe this.
Davis (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
They are twisting it all. We can't trust Lilly or Angela, I don't know how we are going to get to Regionals with them at The Next Step.
Angela (Studio Head/Fixer) POV -
I'm proud of Lilly, she is just like me when I was a competitive dancer. Thats my girl.
