10. Family First, Dance After

STUDIO A

Anglea (Studio Head/Fixer) POV -
I've got all of the team in studio A right now watching Noah perform the dance for the Regionals Qualifier, its coming up really soon and we need to be at our best for when we compete

Kenzie (Jazz Funk Dancer) POV -
The dance looks great. But anglea has got him rehearsing it alone like a solo piece. Which does seem counter productive as it is a four person dance, with dancers who don't even go to the same studio.

Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
A Troupe is on egg shells right now. We are all second guessing who is next to loose their spot at The Next Step. We lost Richelle and now Davis is gone too, but we are not sure what happened with her. I just hope that we can get through it all as a team and just focus on Regionals.

"Thank You. That was great. Just a little bit more rehearsal time needed on the acro section but other then that it is look good" Angela said to her team, none of the team said anything, they did not want to risk her getting angry and kicking some one else out of The Next Step. "I want to talk today about stability" She then said.

"With our recent mole and lack of commitment from dancers such as Davis and Richelle. I think it is time that we put some stability back into the team, and we will do this with our dance captain" She said, Noah smiled a little bit. Although he was an alternate, he had still kept his spot as dance captain. He came forward so he could speak with the team.

"Guys I know we've had it tough but...."
"I'm sorry what are you doing?"

Angela stopped him in mid sentence. This confusing everyone, Noah was the dance Captian, right? "I was just going to give the team a pep talk I mean I am the dance captian after all" He explained him self, but Angela didn't seem to be having any of this.

She folded her arms, "No you are not. Lilly is our dance captain this year!" She announced, pointing at her daughter. Lilly then smiled and nodded, "Thats right. But I really hope we can move past this as a team and start to focus on Regionals more and only then, we'll be champions!" she smiled again. Noah slowly walked back into his place with the rest of the team.

Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I always assumed that I was dance Captian still. No one had changed it and we didn't hold a vote or anything: but it seems I'm apparently not dance captian anymore.

Lilly (Dance Captian) POV -
Thats right IM the dance captain. And now that the team is aware of that, we can start working towards winning the competition.

SHAKES AND LADDERS

Piper wondered into studio A with a big smile on her face. Ever since working with Finn and getting into the middle row she felt happier. But she now wanted to spend more time with Finn, he was in the shakes and ladders when she went over to approach him. "Hey Finn can I talk to you for a second about something?" Piper said nervously.

"Sure what can I do for you?" He looked up from his phone, he was looking at a dance video on YouTube. Piper sat down before answering, "well my prom is coming up in a few weeks, and I don't have a dress. So I was wondering if you could come dress shopping with me some time - just for a look?" Finn did not know what to day to that.

Finn (Hiphop Dancer) POV -
I have never been dress shopping before so I don't know why Piper is asking me to come. But she's a nice girl and it will be Fun to spend time with her, so I do agree to go with her.

"Sure why not, no problem" Finn smiled.

Piper (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
Great. I get to get my prom dress and spend time with Finn Outside of dance. This should be fun!

STUDIO ONE LOCKER ROOM

Jacquie (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
Noah and I did agree to reschedule our date but now something has come up and I can't make it. I'm video calling Davis so I can talk to her about what is going on. I know that she wasn't a mole, it was apart of the plan to get rid of Angela. But it was a huge backfire for her.

Davis (Former A Trouper) POV -
I'm talking with Jacquie on video call right now and we're just talking about what happened with the whole thing. I just hope that all of A Troupe know that I am not a mole trying to stop A troupe!

"I wasn't a mole, I was just doing the plan and it wasn't all for nothing but I found something that may help Summer" Davis said through the video call. She sent the photo of the Regionals Registration Form for the other studio. "Davis what is that? Where did you get it from?" Jacquie said in confusion.

"Its a form for Regionals. But for another studio and if you read it? To Miss Angela, the studio head" Davis explained, alarm bells went off in Jacquies head. What did this mean for the studio? "don't tell any one about it Davis, I need to do some re search about this because this is very serious" Jacquie told her sister through the video call.

Jacquie (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
This I do find really, really strange. If this is what I think it is? Then The Next Step and Miss Anglea could very well be in quite a big lot of trouble.

STUDIO ONE

Jacquie (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I have been looking for Amy everywhere. I can't believe what I just found out about the other studio. She is putting all of the team at such a risk!

"Amy! Jacquie marched in, holding her phone out for the acro dancer to see. She turned to face Jacquie in a confused state about the whole thing." What is this? You are registered on two teams? What is this all about?" Jacquie asked intensely, the acro dancer looked at the screen to see what Jacquie was talking about. "What?"

Amy (Acro Dancer) POV -
Miss Angela has put my name on the list for acro national dance academy when I told her I was staying at The Next Step! She has registered me for both teams and if the board find out then The Next Step could get disqualified from Regionals!

"I auditioned for an all acro team when I missed the A Troupe auditions. But then I found out that anglea is studio head of that team and the next step; and made a bargin with her to let me on A troupe if I don't tell anyone" Amy explained, but this still did not solve all of the problems

"Amy, if miss Angela is studio head of this studio and the all acro team then we can't go to Regionals or compete at the qualifier in a few days" Jacquie said laying down all of the facts. Amy knew this all to well, but hoped that if she kept silent about it then it would not matter "If we both end up facing each other it will be a conflict of interest."

Amy (Acro Dancer) POV -
I need to talk to Angela to deal with this. I need my name taken of that list; and she needs to decide which team she is going to lead to Regionals. The New Step? Or Acro National Dance Academy?

STUDIO A

Noah (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I'm feeling a little down about loosing my spot as dance captain. But all my attention has to be on that Regionals Qualifier. But then Amy runs in looking really worried, I hope she is okay...

"Noah. Where is Miss Angela?" Amy ran in. "She said she had to pop out for a few hours and that she would be back soon for the final rehearsal before the qualifier on Monday" Noah explained, getting into prep to do some turns. This made Amy's heart sink down to the floor, was she too late?

Amy (Acro Dancer) POV -
Angela has popped out? She's gone to the other studio to prep them for the qualifier next week. Now I won't get to see her until after the competition, there is nothing we can do now. We just have to hope and pray that we get through this, and the board do not notice...
