8. Tipping Point

STUDIO A

"Get Into Your Positions!"

All of the dancers in the room got into their spots ready to perform the hip hop combo. Piper had Positioned herself be hind Finn so she could watch him if she needed too, but she hoped the would not need to. "Remember these will decide who goes where in the lines for some of the dances! Dance your best!"

Piper (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
Finn helped me with the Choreography so I kind of know it. But I don't feel overly confident so I just hope I can get through it.

Richelle (Acro Dancer) POV -
I'm running back into Studio A to do the combo that Angela set out for us, I'm so glad that I didn't miss it because I would be in so much trouble if I did.

"Sorry I'm late!" Richelle called out as she got into Studio A and took of her jacket ready to dance. She was about to get into her spot when Angela stopped her, "No." Richelle stopped in her tracks at the side of the room and looked confused. "What? I'm going to do the combo"

"No your not. You're late, all of the other dancers were here on time" Anglea argued and she switched on the music to get the dancers working. "Wait there and watch the others - then you can see me in the office" Anglea instructed, now turning to watch the dancers who were doing the combo.

Richelle (Acro Dancer) POV -
What is Angela doing? I'm here, I'm ready to dance. The music hadn't even started yet! She is acting totally unreasonable!

Piper (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
I'm getting all the steps down thank good ness! If I get through this combo without messing up then I owe it all down to Finn!
I couldn't do it without him.

Lilly (Acro Dancer) POV -
I want to be front and center and I know my mum will put me there, but I can't take any chances. So I knock Jacquie over, but then I trip over myself. That was a big backfire!

Jacquie (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
Come on Lilly what are you doing? She may have just ruined my chances of me getting a good spot in the lines for the Regionals dances. If I'm put in the back row I'm going to scream!

Summer (Contemporary Dancer) POV -
As I'm dancing I look across to see Richelle looking really down about what happened. I can't believe how Angela was acting with her, unnecessary or what!?

"Ok thank you. I'll have to think about it and Richelle, my office now!" Angela said aggressively. At this point all of A Troupe had turned to look at the office to see what was happening with Richelle. But if one thi was certain, it didn't look good at all.

Studio A OFFICE

"Richelle i really don't accept lateness at any cost. You have missed valuable time for rehearsal!" The studio head lectured, she was calm at this moment. But knowing Richelle, she was about to say something that was really switch it up. "I did not miss any rehearsal time. I was there and you didn't let me dance. I won't be held accountable" Richelle respond in her knowing tone.

"And with respect, I am not the one who didn't show up to the studio without any word of warning" Richelle then added, this enfuriating Angela immensely. "I'm sorry but you are wrong. You should have let me dance" Richelle then went on to say. But tensions were now starting to boil out of control, a huge tipping point was on the horizon.

Angela (Studio Head/Fixer) POV -
This girl has no respect. I can't let this go unpunished; if these are the types of dancers that are on A Troupe? There is no way that the next step will win Regionals anytime soon!
