I was staring at the wall again. Now, I’ve given this particular wall more than its fair share of stares. In fact, I almost pitied the wall, but the wall was unfeeling, and therefore, there was no need to waste my small amount of pity with it. I moved from this particular staring spot to the next. I now had to choose a new victim. Thus began an endless hunt that left me overflowing with vast amounts of boredom, which eventually led to me purposely tripping over my own feet repeatedly to see if I could use my Rinnegan to stop myself from falling in time.
The first six times I panicked. Then I grew far too comfortable falling forward and landed on my face with an uncomfortable and gut-wrenching crunch. I scrambled up and quickly searched for something I had crushed to explain the crunching noise. I then almost screamed as my heart tore in half. “Noooooooo!” I wailed, causing most of the Akatsuki to end up within the surrounding two feet of me.
I held up what I had killed. “NO! It wasn’t your time to die! I’m so sorry!” I exclaimed. “I’m sorry cereal!!!” The Akatsuki sweatdropped. I shrugged threw the box hard enough to cause it to explode with great force against the wall, making sphere shaped balls of chocolate fly all across the wall. I snarled at the not-so-beautiful explosion and raided the kitchen for my new favorite treat- chocolate pocky. I just couldn’t get enough of the super-sized boxes!
I placed the chocolaty biscuit-stick-thing in my mouth and sucked all the chocolate off of sections before crunching the chocolate-stripped section. I wanted to jump up and do something, but there was nothing to do. I mentally sweatdropped at the thought. Of course, there had to be something to do, I was simply far too lazy to think about it. With a sigh of defeat, I hid my new-found obsession and stretched my limbs, then went back to my room.
I stared at the blood red walls and the black comforter and carpet before I went into my closet. I grabbed some clothes before I walked into my bathroom, with its black and red tiles, and stripped. I hopped into the steaming shower and slowly washed my hair and body until I felt sufficiently clean.
I relaxed in the hot water and then toweled off. I slipped on my undergarments, then a black tank and my usual black skinny jeans. I went outside to train, oblivious to the icy wind and twinkling stars. I practiced my taijutsu and ninjutsu with a few clones before I took a quick break. I sat on the frost covered grass. With a few stabilizing breaths, I stared at the sky, admiring the uncaring stars and the careless clouds that slipped over the sneering moon. I closed my eyes and listened to the soft breeze that slid past me.
Six figures with the same chakra instantly thudded beside me. In a split second, I was on my feet, eyes open and a wickedly sharp kunai in each hand. I threw one in front and one behind me before I made a break for the trees in the gap that followed them dodging my accurate throws. My heart pumped and legs flew at an astounding pace before I felt myself flying backward. I let loose an angry shriek and shoved chakra into the soles of my feet to slow my progress until it came to a screeching halt. With a wild snarl, I twisted around to face Pein. I instantly stiffened as five figures lined up behind him.
“What is the meaning of this?” I said, pushing chakra into my legs slowly until I was ready. Pein opened his mouth before I jumped up into the trees and fled from the figures. One of them materialized in front of me and I halted myself before pushing off into a different direction. This happened five more times until I was surrounded in a clearing my eyes wide and my heart stuttering like a lovesick school girl.
I spun in a slow circle, my senses higher than the moon itself. “Nayami, relax.” One of the figures said. I growled and glared from behind the sheet of hair in front of my eyes.
“How do you know my name?” I demanded, eyeing the orange-haired, Rinnegan-eyed man with mild paranoia.
“If you relax, we’ll tell you.” Said another, I spun to face this one, with orange hair and Rinnegan eyes.
