Chapter 1
I walked up to my new school, bag in hand. My name is Cecelia Smith. I was so boring I blended in with hospital walls. I had to move here because both my parents died in a car accident and I went with my Grandmother.
I entered the office and asked the nice looking lady for my schedule. She typed a few things into the computer quickly and smiled at me. “All honors, huh?” She asked, grinning.
“Yeah, um, can I just have my schedule?” I hated when people focused their attention on me. I just wanted to be out of here. She pursed her lips and I realized how rude I just sounded. “I’m sorry.” I said as she handed me a pink piece of paper with my classes on it.
I didn’t even wait for her answer before running out of there as fast as I could. The main hallways were packed. People were actually separated into groups, just like in stereotypical movies and books. I ignored everyone’s stares and entered my first class. English 11 Hon.
Searching the room, I finally found a seat that would leave me secluded from everyone. I put my stuff on the floor next to my desk and looked up front, waiting for everyone to come in.
Five minutes later everyone was in class, eyes fixed up front. The teacher started talking about something I really didn’t care about. I already learned it all in my old school.
The bell finally rang and I walked out into the busy hallways again. This was just going to be complete torture, wasn’t it? I realized the bell was going to ring in about a minute and I literally sprinted to the gym. When I got there the bell rang immediately and I was extremely out of breath.
The gym teacher walked up to me. He was an extremely tall and overweight man. He had a small tattoo of a gun on his arm. I looked up at his face and he glared down at me.
“You’re gonna need an outfit for gym, ya know.” He said with a thick country accent.
“Yes, sir. I don’t have one with my today. I’m so sorry.” I said, feeling my anxiety act up. This always happened.
“You’re gonna get a zero for today. Now go sit by the door. You can’t participate today.” I nodded and walked quickly over to the door. I sat down and took out a book, letting myself be absorbed into the words. I looked up when I heard everyone come out of the locker rooms. I laughed to myself at some of the things these girls were wearing.
One of the girls had her hair up in a top knot. She had super short shorts on, and when I say short I mean half of her ass was hanging out. She had a cut off tshirt that just barely reached the bottom of her stomach.
I heard the gym doors open next to me and felt something weird in my heart. I looked up to the doors.
I was greeted by one of the most gorgeous boys I have ever seen. He had short brown hair and a band tshirt on. His eyes looked over the gym and settled on me. They were a sparkling green color and his face had a few freckles here and there. He looked at me intently and let a growl rumble out of his chest…wait, A GROWL?
“MINE.” He announced.
