Chapter 2

*Alexander’s POV*

I entered the school late. Why? Why must I always be late? I ran up to the doors and sprinted the office. The lady at the counter pursed her lips at me.

“Please give me a pass.” I begged. She rolled her eyes and started writing on a piece of paper. She handed me the yellow slip and I ran off with it.

When I was almost was at the gym, I was greeted by a very sweet scent. Chocolate and cinnamon. I couldn’t get enough of it. What were they cooking at lunch today?

As I got closer to the gym it got stronger until my wolf was going crazy inside of me. What was happening? I walked in through the doors and my eyes settled on a stunning girl in the corner, sitting alone. My wolf was screaming, MINE, over and over again. She was my mate.

It took everything inside of me to not shift. I looked into her beautiful eyes and let out a growl. My wolf finally pushed through and growled, “Mine.” out loud. How was I going to explain that to her? She was obviously a human.

I walked quickly to her.

“My name is Alexander.” I said quickly.

She smiled slightly. “I’m Cecelia.”

The sound of her name made me want to wrap her in my arms. I had to do something. Time for drastic measures.

“I’m sorry for what I’m about to do.” I said. I took her in my arms and threw her over my shoulder. She was so light. She was screaming, banging on my back. I hated having to do this to her but I couldn’t let her stay here, not knowing me. Not having me beside me. “Please, just let me go!” She cried. I could feel her tears on my shirt and all I wanted to do was wipe them off her face.

I ran out the door and put her in the back seat of my car. I quickly ran over to the drivers seat. I drove away and to the back house. My beta met me at the door.

“It’s my mate. Get me the keys to the guest room.” I said, picking her up in my arms. She had knocked herself out on the car door. I was worried out of my mind. She was out cold.

My beta handed me the keys and I ran to the room. I put her on the bed lightly and ran back out, locking the door behind me. I called the pack doctor through mind link. I opened the door back and went to go check on her.

The doctor arrived soon after and I watched as he looked in her eyes, checking for dialation. He looked to me.

“You shouldn’t have done this Alpha.” He said.

“I know. I couldn’t help it.” I said, looking at my lap.

“I understand. It looks like she’ll be fine. It wasn’t the hit that knocked her out though. I think she had some sort of panic attack and fainted.” He sighed.

I buried my head in my hands. I caused her to pass out. Wow. I was a wonderful mate. (EXTEREME SARCASM)
