Just a high school crush // Phan

Recess

After the bell screeched again, everyone scrambled to the door labelled 'exit'. No one was leaving, they just wanted to have fun outside. Dan and Phil decided on playing tag, because they wanted to have fun and remember when they were kids and played together everyday. Dan was first to be 'it' so he ran as fast as he could to catch up to Phil. Dan must admit, Phil can run really fast, but he still runs faster.

Dan caught up to Phil and tagged him.

“Hah, you're it!" Dan shouted as he struggled to catch his breath.

“No," he stopped for a second to touch Dan, “You're it," he ran off, away from Dan.

Dan ran, no, sprinted towards Phil.

“Get back here, you spoon," Dan spoke loudly, still running.

“Neverrrrrr!" Phil shouted back and fell into a bush.

“Oh shit! Phil, are you okay?" Dan shouted, his voice full of fear.

“I'm okay," Phil answered sarcastically, mumbling an 'ow'.

Dan rushed over to aid his friend. Phil sat up and was super sweaty. A drop of sweat rolls down Phil's cheek. 'Oh my God,' Dan thought, 'Phil looks really hot right now, with his shining skin, his perfect blue eyes....' (I was too lazy to write so I cut Dan off =p)

“Earth to Dan," Phil said, waving a hand in front of Dan's face.

Dan shook his head to get him out of Dreamland, “Yeah?"

Phil paused a moment, “You were staring directly at me and it was creeping me out."

“Haha, oops."

They went back to playing tag and in the end, Phil was it.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (honestly same)

The bell screamed. Everyone slowly walks back inside, dreading their next classes. Dan was excited because he gets to spend another few hours staring at Phil's gorgeous face.

Dan took his usual seat next to Phil and immediately started staring. No one questioned why he was staring at Phil so Dan figured no one cared.

But he was wrong, oh so wrong. One of the popular girls, Hayley (no offense to anyone named Hayley) loves to spread rumors. She was saying Dan has a crush on Phil and telling others to pass it around until everyone in the class knows.

Of course, she isn't wrong, Dan does have a crush on Phil, but he doesn't want the whole school to know.

Dan feels a tap on his shoulder. He turns to see Phil looking slightly worried.

“Phil, what do you want?" I ask, trying to ignore his worried eyes.

“I think Hayley is spreading rumors about us."

“Really? How do you know?" 

“Well I heard everyone whispering to each other. I heard them say 'Dan' and then something else I couldn't decipher, and then they said 'Phil'."

“Oh, I wonder what it could be... probably something along the lines of 'Dan has a crush on Phil.' You know them,' Dan used an annoying tone for the 'false' rumor.

“True," Phil agreed.

They didn't talk the rest of the way through. Dan kept staring at Phil, and Phil paying zero attention to him.
