A/N: I know, it's been a while, but I'm back again lol. But anyway, short chapter, but it's really eventful. Thank you guys for reading and now... OFF TO THE CHAPTER!
-------
Xavier's POV:
My hands shook in anger as I drove to all the places I thought she might've gone to, but she was nowhere. I checked at Sadie's house, her house, the school, even back at my place, but nothing. Then the tracking device pinged a location. I immediately grabbed it and started following the roads I needed to take to get back to her. She wasn't but 15 minutes away. Finally, she had made the one mistake that would cost her everything, and she'd realize it soon.
Katherine's POV:
I sighed in relief when I realized Sadie was okay. She also told me that Ali called her and convinced her to do what she did. I silently thanked Ali in my head and hung up when I realized that we had been talking for a little over 20 minutes.
"Now that I've explained everything, can I please leave?" I asked Ash.
"Not by yourself. I'll come with you." He stood up and walked over to me.
"Ash you barely know me... why would you help me?" I asked.
He raised an eyebrow and looked confused by my question. "Because it's the right thing to do. No one deserves to go through what you have." I smiled at him in thanks. "Before we go, I have to use the bathroom real quick." I nodded and he left me alone in the bedroom. I sat on the edge of the bed and put my head in my hands, thinking about what my life had come to. I was 16 for god sake! I was supposed to be having fun and hanging out with friends... not running from someone who only wanted to cause me pain.
"Regretting your decision to leave me?" I whirled around and started to scream for help, but he had already covered my mouth with his hand. He pushed me down on the bed and pulled a set of handcuffs out of his back pocket before securing them onto my wrists and attaching it to the board. He then pulled out a strip of duct tape and ripped off a piece, smoothing it down over my mouth. I kicked and fought to free myself, but like it always was, it was no use. Xavier got up and closed the door, then turned off the lights, but before he did he smirked at me and put his finger to his lips. Then everything was dark. I distantly heard Ash walking back to the room and I prayed that we would both survive. He pushed open the door slowly, obviously confused as to why the lights were off.
"Katherine? You in here?" He called before flipping on the lights. His eyes fell on me seconds before he received a punch from Xavier to the face. He fell back into the wall and I screamed. Xavier didn't pause but continued to punch him in the face so fast that Ash couldn't get a single punch in. I struggled against the restraints, knowing I needed to do something or Xavier would kill him. Xavier continued to beat him for the next 5 minutes, to the point in which all Ash could do was block as many hits as he could. Xavier grabbed his shirt and jerked him up into a sitting position.
"Since you helped her, you're going to watch as she gets what she deserves," Xavier said in a low voice. I panicked as he walked back over to me and unlocked my hands from the board, but kept them cuffed together. He threw me over his knee and my shirt lifted up, giving him access to what he wanted. He held me down with one hand as the other lifted. I took the chance to kick off against him as hard as I could, luckily it was enough. I landed on my butt and immediately started sliding backward as fast as I could, which was hard since my hands were still cuffed. Xavier followed my every move until my back hit the wall. I threw my arms up in front of my face as he reached for me. His fingers firmly grasped my wrist and pulled me up and into him. I shook my head rapidly, but he chose to ignore me. I dug my heels into the ground but barely even slowed him down. He reached the bed and sat me down beside him. He then reached for the tape he had stuck on my mouth, and I automatically flinched. He pulled it off slowly, emotions clouding his features. I then took a chance to look at Ash. To my surprise, he had his phone out and was texting someone. He caught me looking and weakly pointed to Xavier. That's when I realized what he was doing. He was getting someone to call for help and was telling me to distract Xavier while he did it. Xavier began to follow my line of sight but I quickly reached up and touch the side of his face, causing him to quickly look back at me. "What are you doing Kat?"
