-------
Two Days Later:
Xavier had done nothing to hurt me in any way the past two days. Nothing at all. All we did was watch movies together. I had asked repeatedly if we could leave the house but he said no every time. To be honest, I was going a little stir crazy, just waiting for something to happen. Then he said something that shocked me out of my boredom.
"We're going to Landon's house in 15 minutes by the way." He said.
"What!" I yelled, pushing back on his chest. He'd made me sit in his lap while watching the movie, otherwise I would never be doing it. "Xavier no, I don't want to go."
"And I don't care. We're going."
"You could've at least told me sooner," I grumbled under my breath. He raised his eyebrows at my words.
"Why?"
"So I could've been a little more prepared," I answered truthfully. It took more than 15 minutes to mentally prepare myself for something like this, especially since I seriously doubted that we would all sit around doing nothing for however long Xavier wanted to be there.
The 15 minutes passed by a lot faster than I would've liked, but to be honest I would've been okay with time stopping forever. I obediently walked with Xavier outside to his car, hoping to avoid what would inevitably come.
In the beginning I tried to memorize the route to Landon's house but after an hour of this, I gave up. Shortly after, we arrived at a small and secluded house, undoubtedly belonging to Landon. I slowly began unbuckling my seat belt as Xavier got out of the car and came over to my side. Opening the door, he grabbed my arm and hauled me up out of the vehicle. He had been acting different since we left, more irritable, which when it comes to him is never a good thing. He lead me up to the door and knocked. It swung open quickly to reveal Landon, who smirked at me. I cringed, remembering our last encounter and subconsciously stepped closer to Xavier. As bad as he was, he was the only familiar thing I had.
"I thought you didn't like to share what was yours Xavier," Landon said while giving me a hungry look. I stepped back and hung onto Xavier, terrified.
"I don't. That's not why I'm here. And you'll never touch her, you have Aliana to mess around with. Not Katherine." Xavier grated while grinding his teeth.
Landon leaned back against the door frame lazily and crossed his arms, like he was tired of talking to Xavier. "Maybe I want to take on another challenge... now that Ali's broken she's not as much fun." Landon stopped after seeing the look on Xavier's face, who was glaring intensely. "Fine then, why are you here?"
"I need your help." I could tell it pained Xavier to admit that he needed help, but what with I didn't know. He really needed mental help but I wasn't going to be the one to suggest it.
"Well then, you should've just started with that. Come on in." He opened the door wider and let us through. I looked around at his house quietly, thinking that it looked just like any other house, but then again, so did Xavier's. We then followed him to the living room where I saw Ali sitting on the couch. We stared at each other and I felt panic begin to rise when I saw the emotionless void in her eyes. I would NOT let Xavier do that to me. Xavier sat down on the other couch and pulled me down beside him, holding me tightly against his side. Landon then sat down beside Ali and started playing with her hair. I tuned out, knowing I probably didn't want to hear what they were saying. I looked over at Ali again, who was staring at me. I looked away awkwardly, not knowing what to do. It was awful, what had been done to her. I remembered what she used to be like. Years ago I had admired her never ending sarcasm and good looks. The beauty was still there, but the girl inside wasn't. After a few minutes I decided to listen in on the conversation, mainly because I wanted to know what the problem was.
"She won't do anything I say. It's like it goes in one ear and out the other." Xavier said. I looked at Landon who was smirking at me again.
"She seems like the type to do that."
"I've tried everything, nothing will work." Xavier said, causing me to finally realize who they were talking about. Me.
"Everything?" Landon repeated. Xavier nodded and Landon smiled in accomplishment. "What about sex machines?" My face flushed in anger, partly because I knew that Xavier would try whatever Landon suggested.
"Well... no. She was a virgin until two days ago." Xavier finally admitted. I felt my anger begin to cloud my judgement, but I forced it down, knowing that it would get me nowhere.
Landon laughed loudly, "A virgin? Unfortunately I didn't get the pleasure to do that to Ali. That must've been amazing." I clenched my fists and jaw, wanting so badly to leave. I then got a look at Ali again. She sharply shook her head no, warning me not to. I barely controlled myself and tried to tune out again, but realized I had failed when Xavier's voice reached my ears.
"It really was. She tried to act like she didn't like it, but I could see right through her and she loved every minute of it." Xavier then turned to look at me and the second he did I knew I couldn't control my anger anymore. My hand cracked against the side of his face and I ran before I could see his reaction. I raced for the front door, feeling the need to get away. Before I reached it, I took a good look at the insane amount of locks on the door. There was no way that door was opening in the amount of time I had, so instead I ran towards the window, only to see the same thing; locks all over it. I could see no other exit, which meant I was shit out of luck. I banged against the glass uselessly, knowing my time was up. Just as the thought crossed my mind, Xavier grabbed my arms and yanked me back. He then threw me over his shoulder and stalked back to the living room. I slammed my fists down repeatedly against his back and screamed as loud as I could for help, probably just annoying him. Xavier stopped and said a single word that sent a chill down my spine. "Where?" He growled to Landon. Landon didn't reply but gestured for Xavier to follow him down the hall. I looked up and seen Ali wide eyed and terrified, for me. My stomach clenched and I went limp. When was I going to learn that he'd always drag me back? It was so unfair. I'd get a taste of freedom just to be yanked back. It was cruel. It was wrong. And yet it was my life.
