"I'm going. I'm leaving Riverdale." Polly said as Enoch walked down the stairs and walks towards the living room. "Polly, slow down. You're gonna give the babies whiplash." Betty says at her side as Enoch stopped at the entry way of the living room. "I've already called the farm. They still have room for me." Their oldest sister says and Enoch scoffs.

"Farm? What farm?" He asked at the same time as his mother did. "The farm Jason and I were running to before my life fell apart." Polly says and Enoch sighs, looking away. "Honey, let's just talk about this. Why are you leaving?" Hal asked as Enoch walks over, taking a seat. "Ask mom. She's the one baiting a killer. A killer targeting sinners." Polly says.

"Polly, you're not a sinner." Enoch says and Polly looks at him. "I'm an unwed mother carrying my cousin's babies. I am the poster child for sin, Enoch." She says and Enoch sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Alright. That's it. Over my dead body are you gonna run off to some farm and give birth in a trough, no doubt." Alice said as she stood up.

"It mght be over your dead body, mother, but it certainly won't be over mine or my babies'." She said before storming off. "Polly!" Alice scolds her and Enoch got up. "I'm gonna go talk to her." He says before jogging after his older sister. "Pol," he says, following her into her bedroom where she starts to pack her clothes into a suitcase.

"Pol, come on, think about this.." He says and she sighs, shaking his head. "I am thinking about this, Enoch, I have to do this. I don't want my babies.. to be-" She paused and looks up at him. "I know.." He sighs, walking over and standing next to her. "Just.. think of how this will affect mom, alright?" He says and she sighs, nodding her head.

"Cab's waiting.." Polly says to Enoch and Betty who both stood, holding each other's hands in front of her. "Polly, are you sure this is how you wanna leave?" Enoch whispers to her and she smiles at him. "Without even telling them goodbye?" Betty said as she squeezed Enoch's hand gently. "I know mom's sorry.." Betty says and Polly shook her head.

"She's always sorry until she does the next thing." She says and Enoch reached out for her arm, trailing it down to her hand, Betty doing the same with her other hand. "I'll be fine.." She whispers and they pull her into a small group hug, holding her tightly in their arms, almost not wanting to let go.

"I'll call. I promise." She whispers and Enoch squeezed his eyes shut, "okay.." Betty said before she sniffled and Enoch knew she was crying too. Polly pulls away, staring at Betty then looking to Enoch before sighing and turning away. "Take care of each other, alright? Like you always do.." She says before grabbing her bags and walking out.

Betty locks the door before turning to Enoch with sad eyes. "Oh, Betty.." He sighs, pulling her into a hug which she gladly accepts, sniffling again. After a while, Betty pulls away, sighing as she walks past him and he watched her ascend up the stairs.

As he laid in bed that night, he thought of how he and Betty use to share a room right next to Polly's, how they'd get scared during a thunderstorm and Polly would come in and let them use her nightlight. She was always protecting the two. Now Enoch can't help but worry who was gonna protect them now.

The next morning, Alice found out about Polly leaving and Betty told her truthfully that she and Enoch helped her leave. "How could you two do this to me, Enoch, Elizabeth? To us?" Alice asked as she sat across from her set of twins with Hal. "Polly asked for our help, mom." Betty said and Enoch puts his hand to her shoulder, nodding. "To run away? And you both agreed? I thought you were better than that, Enoch. Elizabeth? Yeah, maybe.. But you?" She says and Enoch sighs, pulling his hand away from Betty who looks at him then back at their mom.

"We know where she is, mother. Actually, thank God she's out of Riverdale and away from that.. person." Enoch says, not exactly knowing what to call the Black Hood as he looks up and Alice looks at him. "You think that guarantees her safety?" She says and Betty sighs. "Polly was scared." She says. "And you don't think that I am?" Their mother asked.

Enoch and Betty both look at her in disbelief. Enoch always thought his mom was indestructible, like she couldn't be broken, that she didn't cry but all that changed when he realized she was close to tears. "I'm terrified." The Cooper woman spoke, her voice breaking as she did. "Everytime that you or Enoch walk out that door," she said, pointing to the front door, "Everytime I call either of you and you don't pick up the phone.. My heart stops." She says and Enoch sighed, looking down. He was so guilty of what he did now, his mom crying sucked. It broke his heart and it broke his heart even more when he realized she was crying because of his actions.

"But how am I supposed to protect all of you three, right when you go and do this?" She says and Enoch looks at Betty who looks back at him with the same guilty look in her eyes. Enoch looks at Alice with an upset look when he saw those tear filled eyes. "And then try to make me the monster!" She says, smacking the table before storming off making Enoch sigh.

He looks to his dad who was looking down at the table. "Dad.. Listen, I'm really-" "I know, son.." Enoch is cut off by Hal who looks at him. "I really am.." He says and Hal merely stood up and walks out. He looks at Betty who sighed, leaning on his shoulder. "This was all your fault, you should've told them we had no idea Polly left." He spoke harshly, standing up making Betty watch him with a hurt look on her face, but he doesn't look at her, as he rushed up the stairs.
