VIII. LOVE, SIMON

Enoch had convinced Sweet Pea to go with him to the  zscreening of Love Simon at the Bijou, which he agreed to go to. And it was a surprise. So here they were, on the way to the Bijou. "So, what is this movie about? Is it gonna make me cry?" Sweet Pea asked as a joke as they walk up to the entry of the theatre.

"Yep, most definitely. It was confirmed by many other gang members it made them cry." He says and Sweet Pea scoffed but still ended up smiling as they walk in and get their tickets. They bought some snacks and ended up way in the back of the theatre room.

"Honestly love this movie already, I read the book a bunch of times." He says as he sits down beside Sweet Pea who looks at him. "It was a book before?" He says and Enoch nods making the Serpent pretend his head exploded making the Northsider chuckle. "You're such a dork." He says then the movie started.

By the end of the movie, the two had started making out, completely forgeting about the popcorn they had bought, not even remembering they still had some of their drinks left as Enoch tilted his head to the side and slipped his tongue into Sweet Pea's mouth. Sweet Pea was taken back but he still continued anyway, putting his hand on Enoch's thigh which he puts over his own leg. Enoch was basically moving closer and closer but then the movie was finished.

"Ah, guess we gotta go.." The Cooper said, standing up and walking away making the Serpent sigh but follow him anyway, catching up quickly before they leave the building. "Wanna head to Pop's?" Enoch asked and Sweet Pea only shrugs. "Whatever you wanna do, E." the taller teen said and Enoch smirks.

"There is one thing.." He says, and so, they stood on top of the Cooper house, "why did you wanna climb up here?" Sweet Pea says and Enoch walks along the edge. Sweet Pea grabs him right away, pulling him away from the edge and he sits down, pulling Enoch between his legs, who now stood on his knees in fromt of him. "Be careful.." He says and Enoch smirks.

"I can take care of myself." He says and that's when he leaned in, and pressed his lips to Sweet Pea's again. That time, Sweet Pea laid him onto the roof, hovering over him and making sure they don't fall at the same time. "SP," he says, pulling away and Sweet Pea stares down at him, "hmm?" He hummed and Enoch plays with the buttons of his flannel.

"What do you like about me?" He asked and Sweet Pea sat down, staring down at him. "Your lips." He says making Enoch blush as his thumb runs over the bottom lip. "So full.. Tasteful.." He whispers. "And your hair.. And especially your eyes. Bluest eyes I've ever seen." He says, smiling slightly making Enoch smile more as he sat up, looking at him.

"And most of all you. You're what makes you.. well you and that's why I like you." He says and Enoch smiles more, looking away. "And me? What do you like about me, E?" Sweet Pea says and Enoch looks at him. "Everything that makes you Sweet Pea.. My favourite serpent.." He says, leaning on the Serpent. "Hm, I'll be sure to not tell Toni." He says and Enoch chuckled, looking up at him.

"I like everything about you, SP.." He whispers and Sweet Pea smiles down at him. "Are you just saying that because you have no idea?" He says and Enoch laughs, looking away. "Okay, maybe a bit, but I know that I do like you a lot, alright? You're so.. good to me.." The Northsider says and the Southsider just smiles. "Nice save.. Really." He says and Enoch rolls his eyes, pulling him down to press their lips together. As Sweet Pea hovers over him again, Enoch pulls away, "we can head into my bedroom.." He whispers and Sweet Pea gives him a look.

"Not like that.." He says, blushing and Sweet Pea chuckled, getting up to pull Enoch to his feet. "Come on, then.." He says and Enoch starts climbing down to the garage roof which he climbs into his window from. Sweet Pea follows his actions and when they get into his bedroom, he walks over to lock the door before walking over and laying in bed. "Let's cuddle." He says with a grin and Sweet Pea smirks. "I don't cuddle." He says but it was those times he did the exact opposite of what he said. For Enoch.

He laid, holding Enoch close to him who's face was right in front of his and had a huge smug grin on it. "I thought you said you didn't-" "Let's forget about what I said.." Sweet Pea says as he leans in, his nose right next to Enoch's before he pressed their lips together and opening his mouth slowly to put his tongue into Enoch's mouth. Enoch starts kissing back instantly as he puts his hands to Sweet Pea's neck, then he pulled away, going for Sweet Pea's neck.

Groans emit from the Serpent who basically becomes weak and soft in his hands when he started sucking and kissing all around. "E, E.." Sweet Pea whispers, pulling the Northsider much closer to his body. Soon enough, Enoch ended up on top of him, straddling his waist as he kissed and licked, making Sweet Pea emit sounds he doesn't think he ever heard before. He has had that one girl like him in Freshman year, but he never liked her back or kissed her or anyone, so this was new, and different. But he liked it.

"Enoch." Sweet Pea said, sitting up making Enoch get off his lap and just stare at him. "What? Did I do something wrong?" He says and the serpent reached out and held his hand. "No, no, you were perfect.. But I-I should go.." He says and he only nods, getting off the bed. "I'm sorry." Sweet Pea says and Enoch looks at him with a smile. "It's fine." He tells the taller teen who stood up as well, walking over to him.

"I'm sorry, if I hurt your little delicate feelings." He says and Enoch rolls his eyes with a small smile. "Not at all, SP, I get it." He says and Sweet Pea leans down, pressing a kiss to his cheek making both of them turn red. Sweet Pea loved that, the red tint on his cheeks. He reached up, brushing his thumb on the red cheek before pulling it away with a small smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, SP?" He asked and Sweet Pea nods, still staring at him with a small smile. Enoch just smiled, leaning up and pressing a quick peck to his lips before walking over to the window and opening it for him. "Goodnight." Sweet Pea just told him, climbing out the window.

"Goodnight SP." He only says before shutting the window with a small smile. He walks over to his bedroom door, unlocking it to go downstairs to get a glass of water. He walks down the steps, to see Betty standing there. "Bumble Bee. Hey, how was your weekend?" He asked, using the nickname he gave her when they were younger.

"Hey.." Betty says, now looking at him as they pull each other in a hug. "Veronica texted me telling me what happened, I'm glad you're okay and safe, Betty." He says as he pulls away and she nods with a small smile at him. "You're the only reason why I even stay here, E. I feel unsafe here but I don't wanna leave you.." She whispers and he nods.

"I know.. I don't wanna leave you either." He says before hugging her again and she hugs back, closing her eyes with a sigh. "Be careful, alright?" She whispers and he nods. "Don't end up like Jason.." She said and he pulls away to see she had tears in her eyes. "Betty, what? No. No, I'd never leave you.. Not ever." He says, putting his hand on her hair, his fingers falling in through her hair.

"Good.." She says and he nods, smiling. "I can't even imagine leaving your side.." He says and she smiles as well, wiping away her tears quickly. "And you be careful too, alright? I'm still pissed you did that weird Serpent dance by the way.." He says as he pulls his hands away then turned around. She sighed, rolling her eyes before heading upstairs.
