Chapter 28

Chapter 28:

Ashton's POV-

I walk Lauren to the car, her hand in mine. I unlock the doors and open the passenger door and she gets in.

"Are you ok?" I ask, "Did he hurt you?"

She shakes her head. I take the wrist he grabbed and see it's all red. "Are you sure you're ok?" I ask. A tear rolls down her face.

"W-why are you crying, shh" I soothe and wipe away the few tears that started to fall, "tell my why you're crying, love"

"If you weren't there, Harry could have hurt me really bad. But you were there and you stood up for me when it wasn't your battle to fight in the first place" she says, "why do you keep calling my your girlfriend?" She asks.

"Because-" I started when I was cut off.

"Ashton!" Lauren exclaims pointing behind me. I turn around only to get punched in the face and onto the floor.

"GET OUT OF THE CAR!" yells Harry pulling Lauren out. Lauren gets dragged out, stepping on me as she does so.

"Let go harry! You're hurting me stop!" She yells.

I feel horrible, I'm lying on the floor watching this go down but I can't find the strength to get up.

Lauren looks down at me pleadingly as Harry drags her to another car which I'm assuming is his.

Lauren drops to the floor, trying to slow him down for me. I can tell by the way she keeps looking back at me helplessly.

I start to gain back some energy and start to stand up a bit.

"Get up you skank!" Yells harry and yanks her hard.

As he pulled, I hear a snap and Lauren screams at the top of her lungs. I get up and make my way to them.

"Let go of her!" I yell, "Stop! She's in pain! Can't you see your broke her wrist?!" I yell.

"Back off, shit head!" He yells at me.

"I'm done being Mr. Nice Guy!" I yell and I put my hands on his shoulders and jab my knee into his crotch hard causing him to drop to the floor in pain and releasing Lauren.

"I know you're hurt, but you need to go to the car right now" I tell Lauren. She nods and runs to the car and closes the door.
