Chapter 39:

Harry's POV-

I make my way over to Lauren's house for like the fifth time this week. I wanted to apologize to her and if Ashton wasn't there, maybe snog her a bit. I was about to ring the doorbell when I saw someone there but it wasn't Ashton, nor any of her friends. And it was a boy! This is going to be good! I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture and saved it so if I ever get Ashton alone, I can show it to him. All of his love for her will be gone.

I kept my phone handy just in case he kissed her or they hugged or anything to be proof that she's cheating on her! Wait. I cheated on her. She knows what it feels like and doing this will just make her even more angry with me. I decided to delete the picture and put my phone away. I walked up to the door and rang the bell.

"Ugh! What? You really shouldn't be here! Ashton just left! And I could call him and tell him to come back" she said. "No no no! That's a bad idea! I was just coming here to say sorry."

"Sorry?! That's it? Just sorry?" she complained.

"Who are you?" asked the boy I saw from earlier.

"Harry" I replied to him, "and you are?"

"Oh hi! I'm Louis! I'm Lauren's new neighbor!" he said excitedly, "Which reminds me, I should leave you two alone. I'll be at my house ok Lauren?"

She nods, "bye, louis!" Then she turns back to me.

"I'm sorry for everything. Cheating. Beating up your boyfriend. Your boyfriend beating up me. Being jealous. Kissing you. I'm sorry for it all! I really am! I don't mean to but, Lauren, cheating on you was the worst thing I ever done! But I just- I just... I haven't really ever felt this way for someone... Ever and. I've never said this because I meant it but, Lauren, I'm in love with you."

A tear fell down her eye but she wiped it off. "Thanks for apologizing but get off my front step before I call the police on you" she said before closing the door in my face.
