—Your POV—
I woke up with the BIGGEST hangover ever. "Yuuri? Can you help me?"
"What what?" He yelled from the kitchen. "What's the best cure for a hangover?"
"Lots of pickle juice! Why, do you have a hangover?"
"Maybe." I said and walked into the kitchen. "Here." He said and handed me some drink and said I had the drink the whole thing. I did, it was disgusting, but I did. It helped clear up my hangover. "How are you okay with this?" I asked him. "Your a teenager! You should just, have fun. Live your life! I shouldn't stop you, unless you want to end it." He said and I smiled a half smile kinda like, really. He looked on his phone and yelled, "Your gonna be late! Let me drive you!" He said and grabbed his shoes. "No, I can walk, I need the exercise, and to get to school the slowest way possible" I said and walked out. I got to school 20 minutes late and when I walked in everyone's head turned. "Excuse me? Why are you late?" The teacher asked and put her hand on her hip. "Because."
"Principals office. Now." She said and pointed down the hall. "What? Why?"
"Late without a pass, sassing a teacher, dress code." She said and I rolled my eyes then went to the office. "Look, I don't like you. You don't like me. We don't like each other, but I'm busy. Just leave." The principal said and I went right back to class. I was falling asleep in class and something was said on the speaker that caught my attention, "-and don't forget Valentines Day tomorrow! So if you haven't given someone a secret admirer card, now's your chance!!" And then I realized, I forgot to get Yuri one. I put on a mask and sunglasses and put up my hood so no one recognized me in the hall and wrote him one. "I got you one baby." Kaitlin said and seductively put her finger on Yuri's lip. "Thanks." He said and moved her hand. "You okay honey? You seem out of the mood." She said and started rubbing his shoulders. He nudged her off and said, "I'm fine, I just don't want to be touched." And then he looked at me. I quickly walked away and hid in the bathroom until the next period. The next day we were at school and they were passing out the secret admirer envelopes. The secret admirer envelopes work like, you put the person's name on the envelope itself and put a piece of paper with a note of a confession or just saying something nice with your name signed on it, then the person who's name is on the envelope will get it along with a rose. Everyone got like, two, maybe three, but Kaitlin got 23 and Yuri got 25. Remember, it's from the whole school and everyone only gets to write one. I was sure I wasn't going to get any, but then the person playing Cupid put one on my desk and left. I opened the envelope and it was from Yuri. I blushed and almost started crying at the thought he sent me one instead of Kaitlin. I saw Kaitlin ripping hers open looking for one from Yuri and she looked VERY disappointed after not finding it, as for Yuri, he looked very happy and relived after seeing mine. In the hall Yuri started walking toward me but then Kaitlin came up and slapped him. "What the hell?! I go out of my way to buy you a secret admirer envelope and you don't even give me one back?! Who did you give one to?!!" She yelled and slapped him again. "No one. I didn't write one. They were all out when I tried." He said. "No one? Really? I'm suppose to believe that? And that they ran out, I know people, Yurio, I know people. I know that they didn't run out. Who did you give one to?!"
"No one!" He yelled back at her. She looked offended. "Wow, I can't believe, you actually yelled at me. I would never do that to you, that's not fair." She said and wiped away a fake tear. "Really? It's not fair? Says the girl who slapped me twice and yelled at me because of a stupid card." He said and I felt my heart drop to my stomach. A stupid card? "I mean like, it's so cliche and dumb and it doesn't even matter it stupid that people even care." He said and I walked away, but close enough to hear the rest of the conversation. He looked at the place where I left then she grabbed his chin and turned his head to face her. "Oh my god, did you," She said and put her hand to her mouth. "give one to, her? Did you give one to Y/n?!" She asked and I could tell he was debating whether or not to tell the truth. "No, no I didn't." He said and I saw him immediately regret it. "Okay, okay good. I'm sorry for overreacting. I love you." She said and kissed him, but he didn't kiss back. "Okay." He said and she looked sad. "That's not the response I was hoping for." She said and did a small disappointed chuckle. "Thanks?" He said. "Still not it."
"I have to go." He said and walked away into the unisex single stall bathroom and I followed him and went in a minute later. "What was that?" I asked and gestured outside. "I didn't know if I was supposed to lie or tell the truth I was under pressure I didn't know what to do!" He said and broke down and sat on the toilet. I walked over and sat on his lap and wrapped my arm around him. "It's okay. You were fine." I said and remembered about the stupid card. "Hey, is it really just a stupid, dumb, cliche card that you don't even care about?"
"No, I'm sorry. I knew it meant a lot, and I didn't want to say that, I just didn't want Kaitlin to think it was a big deal." He said and quickly kissed me. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I said and we kissed again before going back to class.—Kaitlin's POV—
I was having a party tomorrow and I really want to have an excuse for embarrassing her, so I am going to invite her.—Your POV—
After school I went straight to Yuuri's house after school because, I had nothing else to do, then Yuri knocked on the door. "What? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be doing something with Kaitlin for Valentine's Day?" I asked him and he pulled me in and kissed me. "Do you want to go out for dinner tonite?" He asked and smiled with his hands cupping my cheeks. I smiled and nodded then he told me to get dressed.I wasn't sure about it, then Yuri's face lit up when he saw me. "I love it. You look beautiful." He said and put his hands on my waist. "Thanks. Question," I said and kissed his cheek. "What are dinner plans?" I asked and smiled. "It's a surprise." He said and held my hand to lead me to the car. He drove me to a restaurant I don't know how to pronounce, and we had a great night. It made me realize, how much I love him and want him in my life. Yuri, I love you.
