Chapter 5

Jocelyn's P.O.V
We finally make our way to the restaurant and it's a pretty expensive restaurant. We walk it "hello welcome to caule de launto how may I help you" the girl behind the counter says "reservations for Dawson" Antonio says "right this way they say leading us to a table. "Thankyou" Antonio and me say at the same to the waiter Antonio then smiles at me "you owe me a story" he says and looks her right in the eye "Okay" I say and look at my hands that are folded on the table "so my dad and hank were partners up until i was 7 we move to new York when my dad got a higher paying job at nypd, my mom also got a job as a doctor at the hospital I had a normal childhood family things we where all close we would still come and visit my aunt, uncle and cousins in Chicago when my dad was driving to work one day he was in a car wreck with several other car including a guy that was after my dad they purposely hurt him for no reason he was rushed to the hospital he died within the hour I was 25 when this happened me and my sibling took it well knowing he died with a good life and he was going to a better place my mom on the other hand treated this like a loss cause and she got into drugs I had enough of it so I moved here to get a fresh start and I went to talk to hank about putting her into a rehab center and that I needed someone to watch my little sister who is three but my brother is 29 so we made arrangements and she'll be staying with hank until I can get full custody or my mom is one year clean because I don't want to take any chances" I say to him "wow, I'm really sorry that must be a lot to handle" he says looking at me with sympathy "I'm not alone I have voight and shay well she's kinda pissed at me right now because I left my sister alone in my mother's mess, but we are getting it taken care of which now brings me to the point where he talked about my touch character I built and how I'm like him and the he says that why your- then he stoped talking and told me to make some phone calls about rehab centers so yeah" I say to him then a waiter comes "Hi I'm mark I will be your server today can I start you off with something to drink?" He asks "I'll get some whisky on rocks please and you?" He asks me "may I have a strawberry martini?" I say he writes our orders down and goes to the kitchen to get our drink he then comes back a few minutes later with our drinks "are you two ready to order or do you need some time?" The waiter asks "my lady" Antonio say pointing to me to order first "may I have the chicken parm" I say to him he nods then looks over at Antonio "I'll have the same thankyou" he says to the waiter he writes that down and goes to the kitchen "how about you, tell me about yourself?" I say "okay I have two kids I'm a detective at the 21 precinct and my wife just recently divorced me and took my kids because I was shot during a call I was admitted to Chicago med and I was out for about two week then I wasn't cleared for work till another two months Laura didn't want me to go back to my job as a cop because she thought I would be put in danger but I like having a dangerous job it's such a rush I came home from work one night and there was a note on my table that said I sorry but I'm leaving you to stay at a friends house with the kids until I can get a house because I can't be married to a guy if im not sure he will come home in one peice" he says "I'm really sorry Antonio" I say to him
"Hey don't be let's enjoy our night" he says smiling
The waiter then comes back with our food we eat talk a little more and then we call it a night he drops me off at my house I Thank him and walk into my house I get changed into a pair of shorts and a New York shirt my father always use to wear. I lay in bed and fall asleep to the last thought about my mom and how I was going to pull everything off with the rehab

Just to let you guys know that I'm going to be busy today and tomorrow because me and my family are going tubing at the river so I won't have my phone with me and I want to stay off my phone while spending time with my family I will most likely be tired by the time I get home tomorrow but I'll maybe make a chapter it's not guaranteed that I will I'm going to try thought
