After finishing work, I arrived to the house being even more full. I groaned in annoyance. Peace and quiet was all just a dream now, a vision of it fading into nothingness was all I saw.

It all became better once I saw my best friend, Namjoon. I immediately smiled at his presence.

"Hey!" I gave him a hug. "Look at my best friend looking all handsome and all." I chuckled. He laughed at my comment as well.

"Look at my best friend still making chocolate almost as cute as her." He pinched my cheek. I pulled him into a hug once more.

I brought a big bag filled with a variety of chocolate. "So, any new girls?" I tilted my head as it was just us two in the kitchen. He shook his head in return.

"You're friends with Yoongi's friends too?" I tilted my head. He nodded his head while stuffing his face with left over treats today.

"I'll prepare something for you guys." I felt way happier to have a familiar face here. Namjoon stepped into the living room to join the others as I was making treats.

I prepared chocolate over graham crackers drizzled with caramel. I put the plates on the living room table.

"See, this is why I question every night why my best friend isn't married by now. Any guy would fall for her harder then if he eats the treats she makes." Namjoon clapped, I hugged him while laughing.

Everyone dug in and they were all clearly satisfied. "So, found a new guy yet?" Namjoon teased.

I shook my head, he frowned at my response taking me to another room.

"Eunji, you really need to find another guy. Sungmin passed away 4 years ago." He whispered.

The topic of this never failed to make me tear up. "Namjoon, I-I'm perfectly fine on my own. Being independent is the best choice I ever made."

"I know you, I know you want somebody to lean on.. The mindset you're having right now, that lack of dependance won't get you very far with moving on." I began to cry into Namjoon's chest.

Namjoon closed the door by us and rubbed my back.

"I-I can't." I whimpered. He hugged my tightly.

"You will. I promise you that, you went through so much in this time. You can find somebody that made you head over heels just as Sungmin did." He whispered lightly.

I sighed as I stayed in his arms. As much as I wanted to do that, to move on from the past. No matter how hard I try, the eyes of him end up haunting me.

After time passed, Namjoon left and as I did the same I bumped into somebody.

"Oh sorr- are you okay?" The boy seemed familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on it. "Here." He lead me to the washroom while giving me tissues. "You don't have to tell me, I know it's weird telling a stranger."

I gulped lightly while nodding. "I'm going to go to my bedroom. I-I can't deal with the noise. Please don't tell anybody about this."

"Well, we're about to go out to a restaurant. I'll stay here for your company." He smiled softly as he held my wrist before I could go.

"It's okay, I don't want to be a burden. Go have fun. You shouldn't spend your day helping a bum like me." I chuckled gently, feeling a bit better.

"No, I will. I don't like all the noise either." He scratched the back of his neck. "Peace and quiet would be nice."

I agreed with his comment. "Well.. If you want to stay here, I guess you could. Make yourself at home. If you feel tired there's a guest bedroom across my bedroom." I rubbed my eyes.

"I'm going to get some sleep." I yawned, he nodded while going back to the living room.

I went into my room, taking off my uniform snd pulling myself into some pyjama's. I stretched a bit before getting comfortable in bed.

My eyes slowly began to droop while the room grew dark as soon as I curled myself up.

I woke up in the middle of the night, thirsty for water. I checked the house, Jiyeon was fast asleep in her bedroom. I closed the door gently while checking the guest room seeing that boy in there.

I got two cups of water, and quietly put one in the bedside table on the side of the boy while leaving a note.

I don't know about you, but I do get thirsty in the middle of the night. You shouldn't go through the trouble of roaming around the house. It gets cold at night, if you need anything I'll be in the room across from you, the light pink door.

Thank you for accompanying me.

He tossed to the other side of the bed, I placed the note by the bedside table before leaving to go back to my room. I gently closed the door just to see my cousin closing the bathroom door as she rubbed her eyes.

"What were you doing in the guest bedroom?" She yawned.

"Oh nothing, go back to sleep." I responded while going back to my room and going back to sleep myself.
