A hum strung by my lips happily as I skipped to the flower shop. It was Valentines Day and since it was another year alone, I might as well treat myself.

I twirled in my skirt in joy while continuing to make my way to my destination. Love was in the air, and I was sick of it.

I only like Valentines Day for the discounts, the holiday is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard.

I heard the soft bell ding as I entered the shop, it being scattered by partners buying flowers for their lover. Gross.

I shrugged and picked out a bouquet that I absolutely loved. I began to pay and thanked them before leaving, the atmosphere in that shop was sickening.

I made my way to my apartment but stopping by a cafe to pick up a drink before I go. I ordered and sat down nearby the til for my drink.

As they called for it, another hand reached out for it. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"This is my drink." We both spoke in unison. I tilted my head, studying his figures. He was fairly attractive.

"That's an iced coffee." The girl in the til spoke, the same drink being brought to the counter.

"It's fine, you can have it." I held my bouquet while letting the guy have it. He thanked me in a mumble before I went back to my apartment.

I placed my beautiful flowers in a gorgeous vase I bought last week. I glanced at my window while dropping my keys in a bowl nearby my front door.

It began to rain gently, but in the matter of time the rain began to grow more intense. A thunder and lightening storm arose.

It was going to take a while until my older cousin would come back. I yawned while going to my couch, I hated being alone at times like this. The sound of thunder petrified me.

I called Jiyeon, praying that she would be coming over by now. Instead she missed my call. I groaned while being surprised by the sound of thunder. I squealed and wrapped myself in a throw blanket while watching TV. I sipped my iced coffee throughout the way until it was finished.

Soon after, exhaustion began to fill me up and so I dozed into a deep sleep on the couch.

I woke up to the comfort of my own blanket and small noises from downstairs, I slept downstairs. How did I get up here?

I tossed around to have the warm rays of sunlight hit my face, I groaned while I rubbed my eyes.

Small patters of footsteps echoed the room when I was going down. The big window outside was showing the rain storm was ended and the sun was drying all the moisture up.

I had work soon so cooking myself an easy breakfast could just be the best thing to not occupy my time right now.

After eating a beautiful 'gourmet' 'healthy' bowl of cereal, I went back upstairs while beginning to get ready for work. I worked to make chocolate in a chocolate bar nearby.

Once I finished, I applied my moisturizer and put on the cute outfits we were assigned. I loved this job more then ever, my day didn't dread on since I was making kids and adults happy while making treats for them.

I tied my hair up in a braided bun and went downstairs. I took my name tag from the bowl by my door, seeing the clock and realizing there was still an hour and a half to kill. I went to the washroom and combed my bangs.

The smell of my cousin's cooking was filling the aroma of the whole apartment. I stepped in to see a bunch of boys in the house. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Oh, Eunji you're here." She smiled. "Want some?"

I shook my head. I felt a lot of eyes on me, was there something like a stain or something.

"My boyfriend and his friends came over last night since we went out for drinking." She chuckled. Her boyfriend wrapped his arms around her waist as she was cooking.

"God, how many times do I have to tell you. You can do all that stuff when I'm not around. It's completely disgusting seeing you guys be like that. It's the cause of my nightmares you know." I shook my head, rolling my eyes. "It's not like relationships last anyways." I mumbled while walking to the living room.

I watched TV while time passed, I could hear their loud chatter. Honestly the thought of the house being quiet at a time like this would be more then perfect.

The chocolate bar would open up by now so I walked to the door, passing by the kitchen to grab my water bottle I always prepared in the fridge.

"Have fun at work, Eunji! Save me some chocolate on the way back home." She smiled followed by a wave. "Yoongi.. Stop it." She giggled as her boyfriend gave her kisses on her cheek.

"How do you even last 30 minutes with that?" I scoffed, seeing their friends gathered by a table. They all laughed at my comment.

"You'll have something like this too." She shook her head, smiling brightly due to her boyfriend's presence.

"Being dependant on somebody that has a big chance of leaving is not something to be proud of. It's ridiculous." I laughed, "Guys, their specialty is lying."

The room grew quiet. I just left the apartment before taking my keys and checking myself in the mirror first.

"They're ridiculous." I muttered while going to my car.
