I always asked myself, does a river truly end? Though I could never find my answer. From the time I turned 3 to right here at this moment, I have yet to know the answer. The answer to the question that I live my life by. Because I am my own River, and I don't know if I should end.
I was awoken by my maid banging hard on my door "Lady River, you will be frightfully late if you don't hurry!" She exclaimed. I dragged myself out of bed, not bothering to take a shower. I quickly changed into whatever clothes I could find, I don't bother wearing the uniform. The Ouran High School girls uniforms are horrendous. I stepped out of my room running outside, skipping breakfast, and getting into the limo. As we pulled up to the school I watched all the girls in their puffy yellow dresses, gossiping, bragging. I stepped out of the comfort of my limo and out into the glares of many students. I was pretty the boys liked that about me. My purple hair and lavender eyes caught their attention. The girls, they hated me. Many boys left their girlfriends to chase after me.
But I'm just a river, too fast for your brain to handle. You can't chase me. For by time you see me, I am already gone.
I was walking slower than usual, already 10 minutes late for class. As I walked in the teacher pointed at the only seat left open in the room. It was next to a small innocent boy. Mitskuni Haninozuka, part of the Host Club I hear so much about. Next to him sat a tall man, skinny as well. Next to him, Mitskuni looked like a dwarf. Takashi Morinozuka, also a part of said Host Club. You see I know everything that goes on here at Ouran, knowledge of the people and things around you is good to have. As I sat down next to the small child he smiled at me, the corners of my mouth turned slightly upwards but only for a moment
"My name is Mitskuni Haninozuka, but you can call me Honey," He said, even his voice giving off the aura of a small defenseless child. I know better, he is a skilled fighter I will not let this facade fool me. "Oh and this over here is my cousin Takashi!" He finished with a smile.
"Mori" The tall slender man corrected. I nodded, well I guess that i should introduce myself to them as well. Its only kind, they would be a good connection to have.
"Hello Honey, Mori its a pleasure to meet you. I'm River Sanoka, pleased to meet you both." I said with a small smile shaking both their hands. The looked at me as if i was only a hologram before them.
"P-princess River Sanoka?" Honey asks gasping, still managing to look adorable. I nodded seeing his face. "I used to be taught in a private class only for royalty here at Ouran." I began to explain, Both Honey and Mori leaning in a little to show they were listening. "Though I felt the added expense for the same curriculum doesn't profit my family at all. So here I am in a normal class, and honestly its not that different." I say finishing off my explanation.
Soon enough the class was dismissed, as i was packing my things Honey tugged lightly on my sleeve. "Will you come to the Host Club with Me and Takashi? We really want you to meet our friends, you act a lot like one of them! You an Kyo-Chan would be best friends!" He rambled now hugging my arm. Mori then pulled the small child off my arm and began to leave. I decided to take up on Honeys offer. I followed them all the way to Music Room #3. As the rose petals began flying i questioned what I had gotten myself into.
