“God what happened to him?” a faint voice broke his drifting mind. Groaning he slowly turn his head hoping for the dizziness to subside. “I think he is waking now.” The same voice said. Fluttering his heavy eyelids, he pried them to open.

            “Who…”

“Hey you alright?” said the same voice yet it sounded very familiar to him. Raising his arm to face he let go a shaky breath before he let his arm fall limply in his side.

“What happed?” he asked as he pulls himself up to take a seat.

“You asked what happened when you suddenly bust in here then collapse?” she let a small laugh. “Seriously we thought you were shot or something!”

“Really?” he mumbled weakly. “So what did exactly happen?”

“You really don’t have any idea?” she asked this time seating beside him near the edge.

            “Yea…” he massages his temple.

“Well I am not that sure either. Actually when you came the meeting just ended. So when we just bust out the meeting room, you came at the same time. You look so lost and breathing heavily.” She paused as she stared in her hands lying on her lap. “Then with no reason you sneered at no one in particular before you fell down and lost your consciousness.” She ended. Still feeling hesitant she spares a glance at him before she decided to add more. “Uhm… Brian.”

            “Hn?”

“I wanted to ask you something.”

“Shoot it.” He said his full attention at her.

            “Who is Lucianna?”

“Lucianna…” he repeated feeling the familiarity in his tongue. He doesn’t know why but he knew that that name bears importance to him. Skimming thought his memories he tried to look for something that he had probably forgotten. Childhood memories for exact.

            “Brian?”

“I… don’t know…” he muttered but rather to his self than to her. “Did I call for that name?”

“Yea… you sound in pain actually as you called that name.” she looked away, then out of nowhere she suddenly jab her fist against her open palm. A gesture she always does when she remembered something. “Anyway” she turns to him. “Chief just gave us our new assignment.”

“What assignment. I hope it’s not tailing some showbiz big shot. The stress is killing me.” He said and she made a small laugh at this.

“No, no, actually we are free from that since we are not so good at it and it was given to Sammy and Agnes.” She smirked at no one particular before she added. “I bet that they’ll discover something more than the spreading rumors.” And she made her comical laughter when she had something in her mind that sounded like ‘ohohoho’.

“You sounded some criminal who had just succeeded its gruesome deed.” He side commented.

“Oh yeah! Speaking of criminal. Our new assignment is about the occurring murder.” She said making the last word dark.

            “The still unsolved mystery?”

“Exactly!” she suddenly stood up. “Ooh~” she shivered. “the thrill of this new cover! Aren’t you excited?” she turn to him but she suddenly furrowed her brows when she saw him still unfocused and weak. “Seriously Brian” she akimbo. “are you really, really okay?”
