Ethan

I waited patiently in Zeus's-no, Percy's chamber, with a chained up God of the Sea. Poseidon was sitting dejectedly on the massive King sized bed, staring miserably at the windows that overlooked Olympus.

My hands were at my belt, where I kept my sword sheathed. If Poseidon did try to escape, I would be ready for him.

Suddenly, I heard the flapping of wings and I whirled just in time to see a figure land on the balcony outside of the room. Poseidon recoiled in shock as the figure folded black wings before stepping forwards and opening the doors. I smiled and relaxed my grip on my sword as Percy walked into the chamber, his messy raven black hair windswept and unruly as ever.

His glowing green eyes landed on Poseidon's rapidly paling face before he switched his gaze to me. "Has he caused any trouble, Ethan?" I lifted my hand off of my sword hilt and shook my head. "No, King." Percy scowled at my use of formality but he didn't say anything. Instead, his gaze was now fixed on his ex-father.

Poseidon tried to make Percy listen to reason one last time. "Perseus. I do care about you. When the other Gods voted to kill you, I wanted them to come up with another way. I didn't want you to be killed." Something flashed in Percy's eyes but he clenched his teeth. "Yeah, and I'm assuming your "other way" is to hold me in a cell for the rest of my life."

Poseidon paused, pain appearing in his expression. Percy rolled his eyes and turned to me. "Thank you for watching over him, Ethan. I still have to check up on how Reyna and Annabeth are doing. Zoe is probably watching Annabeth and the army is most likely with Reyna."

"Okay. So.......do I still stay with Poseidon?" I asked. Percy nodded and clapped me on the shoulder. "Yes, that would be much appreciated. But....." The new King held out his hand, hiss scythe appearing in his palm. Poseidon's eyes widened in horror as Percy turned to him, his face emotionless.

I opened my mouth, but Percy slashed downwards. I watched as the scythe cut cleanly through the celestial bronze binding Poseidon. The chains clattered to the floor, and Poseidon stared in wonder at them. Percy twirled his scythe and snapped his fingers. Another chain appeared from thin air and wound itself around Poseidon's ankle and to the bedpost, preventing the God from moving.

"At least you have more freedom than before." Percy said coldly before his scythe disappeared once more. He turned and walked out of the door, leaving me with a shocked and silent God.

Percy

I walked out of my new chambers over to the Olympian throne room. Well, my throne room be exact. I narrowed my eyes as I heard the sounds of distant yelling and fighting over on the other side of the room.

I stalked over to the opposite side and saw that the sounds of combat came from a new door that the Olympians must have created for the demigods that stayed here before the war. I opened it and stepped inside to see a large, circular room. Bunk beds were pushed hastily against the walls, as well as two large benches. There was another door at the back of the room, so I made my way over to it and peeked my head inside.

My army was all gathered inside what I could tell was a training room. Heaps of weapons lined the walls, ranging from close combat to long range combat. In the middle, surrounded by the demigods and demi-titans were two people: Jessica and Reyna. Reyna was panting, and multiple cuts were slashed into her skin. Blood was on the floor from the roman demigoddess. Jessica was grinning, her eyes alit with fiery determination to put Reyna through hell.

Reyna raised her arms to block a powerful strike from Jessica. Her arms shook with the strain as Jessica brutally pressed down with all her might. "I-I said I-I need a-a break!" Reyna gasped. "I'm afraid there is no break, Reyna." I said casually. Reyna's head turned to look at me and Jessica laughed before she swatted Reyna's gladius aside. The roman weapon landed on the floor and Jessica kicked out, hitting Reyna in the chest.
