"Akaasssi!" The little h/c girl whispered down at him from the top bunk. "You awake?" The small boy didn't answer. She shook the bed a little. "Akaasssiiiii!" She whispered a little louder. He moaned slightly and tossed in his bed. "Y/N? Why aren't you asleep yet?" She hung her head down the side of the bed and grinned at him. "The stars are awake! We gots to go and catch some before they go to sleep again! Haha, you look funny upside-down." He looked towards the window. A little light shine through a gap in them, leaving a little path of light, illuminating the small room.

She climbed down the ladder as quietly as she could and tiptoed to the window and drew back the curtains excitedly. The moonlight lit up her face, giving her pale, ethereal glow. The black-haired boy reluctantly got up, and tread across the floor lazily towards the window and wanted to know what she fussed so much about. He looked out towards the sky, rubbing his eyes, which widened in amazement. Stars littered the sky in little clusters, and the full moon was out. "It looks..." The boy trailed off, mesmerised. "...Amazing." She finished off for him.

Her gaze snapped towards the boy

Her gaze snapped towards the boy. "How are we gonna catch them? We can't climb up, it's way too high! Maybe when we're grown up and tall and married we can reach them and just pick them right off the sky!" She looked up at the stars sadly, but dreamily. He looked back to the roll of 'silver paper' he was saving underneath his pillow. She trodded downcast towards her toybox on the other side of the room. "But maybe stars aren't supposed to be catched, Akaassi." She mumbled. The boy frantically worked to scrunch up the pieces of the 'silver paper' as fast he could, making sure to make them exactly how they look in the sky. He left none for himself, using every last bit on the roll.

When the girl turned around to make her way up to her bed, she found shiny little balls littered around the floor near the bunk bed and leading up to the beds. The little girl's face immediately lit up and she rushed to pick the little 'stars' up. "Akaassi! You catched them! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She rushed over to the boy and hugged him tightly, and he returned the hug with the same enthusiasm. "We really need to go to sleep now, though." They both climbed into their beds, carrying a 'star' each. "Goodnight, Akaassi." She whispered to him. "Goodnight, Y/n." He whispered back.

"Love you, Akaassi."

"Love you too, Y/n."
