The sweet smell of pastries and bitter smell of coffee fill the small cafe that the two friends often visit. Youngjae and Sulli went at the corner of the shop, and sat by the booth located beside the shop's window. They sat down on opposite sides and ordered the usual.
"Ughhh, where is he?!" Sulli mumbled to herself as she looked around the coffee shop. Youngjae looked behind him and back to Sulli. "Stalker"
"Yeah, yeah, I know...." Sulli admitted as she continued to search for someone.
Youngjae took out his phone and tapped some buttons, after a few seconds he showed his phone to Sulli.
"Look, he said he's at school practicing his songs"
"What?! UGHHHH...." She slumped back to her seat and let out a deep sigh. She sat up straight as she realized...."HOW DID YOU KNOW?!"
"I texted him..." Youngjae replied
"YOU WHAT?! HOW?! YOU KNOW HIS NUMBER?! GIMME YAH PHONE!!!" Sulli stood up from her seat and tried to grab Youngjae's phone from his hand, sadly, Youngjae had fast reflexes and was able to hide it from her just in time.
"NO! You'll just stalk him! and he might kill me"
"Fine. Whatever." Sulli slumped down on her seat again. "But why do you have his number?"
"We've been friends since preschool, our parents know each other, and we used to be neighbors...also the fact that we fought over the same girl 2 years ago..." Youngjae answered.
The waiter came to their table with a tray full of their orders.
A strawberry cheesecake and a cup of coffee for the two of them.
Sulli quietly ate her plate, looking disappointed and tired. She did went through a lot today and her hopes were let down at the end of the day. Youngjae, being a good friend, noticed this and had an idea. He took a picture of the cheesecake and immediately uploaded it online.
"Uhhh...what are you doing?" Sulli asked while taking a sip from her coffee. "I didn't know you were one of those people who post their food online..."
"Just be quiet and wait...this is for you anyway..."
Sulli didn't understand him at all and just shrugged, too tired to ask another question.
The two of them were half way done with their cakes when the door of the shop opened. Sulli looked up and almost chocked on the cake she was chewing. Youngjae looked up from his plate and followed Sulli's gaze, he turned around and saw Daehyun, panting and searching the cafe. He raised his hand and waved at Daehyun, signaling for him to come to their table. Daehyun saw Youngjae and went to him.
"OH MY GOD is he headed here?!" Sulli gasped as she frantically tried to fix herself.
"Just chill. He's only here because of the..."
"Cheesecakeeeee" Daehyun said as he arrived at their table.
Youngjae and Sulli looked at the starving Daehyun whose eyes were only on his beloved half eaten cheesecake. Youngjae moved to his right giving Daehyun a seat in front of Sulli. "All yours" He gave his plate to Daehyun once he was seated.
Daehyun thanked his friend and started eating the half eaten cake. On the other side of the table, a very flustered Sulli, trying her best not to scream out of happiness, had accidentally kicked Youngjae on the knee.
"YAH" Youngjae gave Sulli a life threatening glare. Youngjae's reaction caught Daehyun's attention and looked at Youngjae. He saw his friend looking at someone and decided to follow his gaze. That was the only time in where he noticed there had been a girl with them all along. "Oh! Annyeonghaseyo~ " Daehyun greeted Sulli. SUlli was about to greet back when he stood up and looked at his watch. "Sorry, but I promised my teacher to be back in half an hour. It was nice meeting you, and thanks for the cheesecake". After Youngjae said goodbye, Daehyun rushed off and went back to where he came from.
Youngjae faced front and took a sip from his cup. "So....what are we going to do about this whole auditioning thing..." He looked up from his cup and looked at Sulli, who was following Daehyun with her eyes run out of the shop. "Helloooo?!" Youngjae said as he snapped his fingers in front of her face. "What?!" Sulli snapped at Youngjae "Will you please give me a moment? Daehyun just spoke to me!!!"
"He just said hi..."
"I don't care" Sulli stabbed her cheesecake and scooped up a fork full of cake and placed it in her mouth.
"stalker..." Youngjae mumbled to himself
"Wha?" Sulli asked. her mouth still full.
"Nothing! Just finish your cake!sheesh....We kind of need to discuss the whole ; you accidentally auditioning and eventually getting accepted, I mean...it's sort of a serious issue here..."
Sulli let out a deep sigh after she took a sip of her coffee. "You're right...but.....just....promise me you'll introduce me to Daehyun....okaaay???"
"Ne~"
"GOOD...now...back to business...I just realized something...being a trainee doesn't have a salary now does it?"
"Now that you mention it...No, they don't have any pay..."
Sulli's head fell on the table and made a loud bump. "How will I survive?! I barely have money to pay this semester's tuition fees! HOW WILL I EAT?!"
"You live with one of the richest students in school and the two of you are close too, why not just ask money from him then?"
She looked up but was still hunched over the table, her chin resting on the table. "Because he already provided me shelter and asking him for money or food would be too much"
"Oh come on..."
"What?" Sulli sat up straight. "I don't want to be a free loader okay?....I don't want to be like that sad excuse of a mother..."
Youngjae sighed and finished his cup of coffee. "Okay fine...I'll find you a job"
"Jinjja?!"
"What are friends for right?"
"Wahh!!! Thaaaaaank you soooo so so so so much!!!" Sulli said as she clapped her hands. They called for the bill and within a few seconds was given to them
"I would love to pay for the food but I can't" Sulli said with her natural aegyo
"Got it" Youngjae got his wallet out and paid for the food.
The both of them stood up when Youngjae offered Sulli to walk her home. Sulli happily agreed and the two where on the way home.
